I was born in '67, I like their songs. I am sure many grandparent or great grand parents are happy their grandkids share the same taste in music. Whether it's the Beatles or other classic UK groups, even Motown, the Philly groups, girl groups, etc. Timeless music is evergreen!

Kids today will never know what it was like to be a teenager age 13 as the Beatles hit the big time, it was electric, simple as that, everything was happening big time, all for the good too. I’m so glad that I can say,” I was there”, the greatest of times ever for me no the rest of the world. YEAH YEAH YEAH!

The only archetype model The Beatles set was of a self made genuine great rock and roll band who worked their a***s off playing 1000's of hours in horrible conditions 8 hours a night from 1960-1962 and had to take speed pills to stay awake to do it, in the sleazy strip clubs of Hamburg Germany and then played live in their local Cavern club for several years, played their own instruments and played them all very good even in their early days.
And John and Paul were already playing guitar and writing their own songs ,Paul started at only age 14,and then John who at 16 and the leader of his own high school rock and roll skiffle band and he was really impressed and surprised that Paul was already writing his own songs, ( John had written deep poetry as a kid but he hadn't put it to music yet) and this inspired him to start writing his own songs too and thankfully from then on they never stopped.
And in the 1950's and early 1960's it was really rare for most *adult* successful famous solo music acts and rock and roll bands to be writing and playing any of their own songs, most had professional song writers writing for them.
And John and Paul were such amazingly talented song writers that in 1963 they already were writing hit songs for other music acts such as one of The Rolling Stones first hits the rock and roll song I Wanna Be Your Man after Mick Jagger asked them if they had any songs for them because The Rolling Stones were only recording cover songs on their first several albums.
So John and Paul wrote I Wanna Be Your Man right in front of Keith Richards and Mick Jagger who were really impressed that they could write a song just like that and it inspired them to start writing their own songs and both bands became good friends and hung out together from then on. and the song became one of The Rolling Stones first hit songs. And John Lennon played Keith Richards guitar and Paul played Bill Wyman's bass as they wrote it right in front of them.
And they also wrote hit songs for Peter and Gordon,Billy Jamer and The Dakotas, and singer Cilla Black in 1963 just as their own song writing success was getting off the ground.
*This* is really the only expected archetype model that became expected for any rock and roll band that wanted to be successful and popular was now expected to follow.

Sometimes I wonder what would have happened if they had actually had someone go on stage and tell the people to shut up.

In one video, John told them to shut up in a joking way. I think it was on an American TV show..
