THE EASIEST, MOST DELICIOUS CHICKEN SALAD SANDWICH EVER

- When I say this is the Easiest, Most Delicious Chicken Salad Sandwich Ever, I may not be able to prove it, but every time I make it, my family and friends go on and on about how delicious it is, and I always respond, "It's the easiest thing to make!" So, as the temperatures starts to climb and you don't feel like cooking over a hot stove, make this chicken salad sandwich and tell me if you don't agree with the title. When you bite into the red seedless grapes you get a crisp & juicy pop of sweetness that screams summer. But keep in mind you can easily swap them out for dried cranberries and still enjoy this sandwich in the winter. There's not really a recipe, per se, because it's completely customizable to your liking, but here's all the ingredients.
Canned chicken, drained and shredded
mayonnaise
red seedless grapes, cut into halves
chopped white onion
chopped pecans or walnuts
chopped celery
salt & pepper to taste
fresh baked croissants

Love this recipe. Mine is very similar in that I use the grapes and/or cranberries, pecans, celery, store bought roasted chicken and croissants. However, I don’t use the raw onions salt or pepper. We love it and have prepared it for company lunches!
I make the same recipe...you are correct, it is the best! Sometimes I toss in some curry powder...YUM! I am in love with that beagle! I had a girl, her name was Darby O'Brien...shes in heaven now. Sure miss that wonderful soul....

How fun! I love tea parties. This will definitely be perfect for it. Another great tea party sandwich is a simple cucumber sandwich. You mix softened cream cheese with a packet of ranch dressing, spread it on regular white bread. Then add thin slices of cucumber. Cut off the edges, then cut the sandwich in half and that's it. They're fantastic.

Yummy! This would be a perfect summer lunch. I haven't tried grapes and pecans in a chicken salad sandwich. This recipe looks really good and I'm definitely going to give it a try.

This is a great recipe. My wife and I both love chicken salad, so I was already planning on smoking a chicken this weekend to make chicken salad for my lunch for the week. I do Vidailia onion being in SE Georgia. Pecans are big here also. I do the grapes, but haven’t tried the pecans, so I will give it a try too.
That sounds wonderful. Smoking a chicken sure beats canned! I never see Vidalia onions at my local grocery store, but the pecans are from my mom & step-dad's trees in New Mexico.

I ended up buying the chicken salad and the croissants but it was such a hit, dad had an endoscopy and hubby had a nose surgery, and they just loved this. We've never had it, and was so fun and easy. Next time I'll make the salad. Thanks!

I love chicken salad sandwiches on croissants!! I can almost eat one of those containers the sell of it at Costco by myself! I thought for sure you were gonna eat a pecan when you were chopping them, I would have! I'm gonna have to try it with grapes!!! Yummy!!! Great Job!!
I can't be trusted with a Costco-sized container of croissants, either. I know it's a better deal, but knowing there's so many, I start sticking them in the microwave with chocolate, and it's all downhill from there. Lol Thanks for the comment.
