Nice thank you. Very good sport for the body and brain. Music or no music is fine for me. Have a great time 😊

Hi there. Thanks for sharing. Please don't do the music thing. I like hearing the ball, I like some comments, and if I want music, I can have some of my own choice playing at the same time (and I don't do it :o) ).

3:00 damn that floor looks even worse than our hall :D
i like the voice over more than background music. if you use music reduce the volume a bit. from my experience looking at comments from other channels the TT audience does not like background music.

I´ll make a poll to find out what people like best, I personally like the music but ultimately you guys should decide. Well up to Week 13 is already done with music, but let´s ses what people think.

@@limittless. I think the argument about people being able to multitask with their technologies these days (playing music while at the same time consuming this content), is a good argument for not putting music ontop of your youtube videos.

Do you guys have any expert advice for the mental part of table tennis? We just saw Truls Moregardh being beaten out of the Saudi Smash event, which seemed to me to be a mental issue ... also, Dimitrij Ovtcharov got to beat Alexis Lebrun after that weird match in 2022 which spurred this conversation about this style of the Lebrun brothers of rushing to the serve and having this youthful initiative to get an upper hand. This was a cool rematch to spectate since I remember how frustrated Ovtcharov seemed in the match in 2022, and I think it was a really important win for him personally/emotionally. I got to thinking about this from your recent videos about becoming stiff in your forehand and how this also might be an issue of getting in your head too much. But, there is this juxtaposition with the engaging attitute of wanting to win and being able to think strategically while in a game; and the ability to be in the moment, relax and flow.

I really want to answer this in great detail. So
Much to say, also as bjj coach and former competitor. Just a short answer for now and I’ll talk to Mathias if we can do a vid about it. 1. confidence comes from proven skills that you gain through a lot of training. So you have to train like you want to compete 2. you cannot allow yourself to run negative movies in your head, both before and during the competition, switch it off and turn on a good one. 3. find out what works for you on the day of the comp, some need it calm others need to get pumped up and so on. These are the three steps I followed while competing in bij and I always preached that to my students. TT has a different characteristic as there are breaks all the time between points and that can get to your head in a heartbeat. I think the lebruns play so fast, it’s easier for them to stay in the zone. Also you can overrun an opponent with that strategy.

It looked like somebody had smeared butter on the floor. As you were both scatting around (blueish floor) . correct me if I am wrong.
