I don't understand how promag is still around. They have always put out crappy mags for every gun for at least 20 years.
One thing about promag is they do have good customer service. I had terrible luck with some Glock mags and they made it right... So I have to give them where credit is due. I just wish they would take a little more time to get their designs down and make sure they work. Great video.

There have been other videos that show fixes for these problems. I luckily watched these before purchasing mine.
I replaced the original RS22 LR magazine into the carcass of that 25 round magazine because it was out of stock the Mossberg 702 25 round magazine, its not the best look but works
I have one and I find the only way, especially in the initial loading to get past there is to start using the mag assist
Did you tried the mad loader after it was hard to load by hand. Maybe that's when supposed to be use.
If you use the loader you can fit the 25 rounds.. Janky or not

Never had any luck from their higher than factory capacity mags. Their 30rd AK mags have always worked flawless for me however...
Yeah they kind of are what they are in most cases. They sent me a RMA so we will see what happens with the replacement.. Appreciate ya watching buddy!
It does fit the 702 but it looks funny because it's made for an AR style mag well
Interesting... That is the 25 round mag for the Mossberg 715 (AR lookalike in .22) not the 25 round mag for the 702. I have a mix of the correct ones and have had zero issues. Yes they're a PIA to load past 12-15 rounds but functionality they work for me.
For difficulty loading put a screwdriver in the springs and push down on the spring to ease the loading. You'll get all 25 rounds in there
There is no loading past 11rds at all on this one lol. I messed with it a littke off camera after the video and the rounds are hitting on a piece inside the mad from what it looks like. Well see what happens with promag sending a replacement and see how it does. Thanks for watching!!
So the 715 mag for mossberg fits in the rossi rs22? I know the 702 does!
I bought two of these. They were just delivered. I can't get more than 10 or 11 in either of these mags. When I try to load the Rossi 22 with one of the mags with 11 rounds in it, it won't load. The mag that came with the Rossi 22 works just fine. The ammo is CCI hollow point.
Send them a message, They will send you replacements.
I have one it takes 23 at the most and it's hard to get 23 in

That's definitely not the 702 magazine it's for the 715, the 702 mag looks alot better in it then the 715 magazine lol

Use a small flat head screw driver to help guide the top spring down
It gets hung up on the Mossbergs to, saw a video were there's some burs that can be sanded smooth where the two mags meet.Took mine apart and then worked great
Use the speed loader !
I Purchased Two of the Original Mossberg 25 round magazines from MIDWAY about a year ago! They work great in my RS22 Rossi Rifle and I have had NO Issues with them at all! The only problem is, I wanted to buy two more but I have Not Found anyone who has them and I have been Looking for more than a Year, with No Results and I have given up! PS, My 25 Round is an Original Magazine from Mossberg and is NOT from PRO MAG! This one from Pro Mag Looks Stupid but the One from Mossberg has a Karger Body and fits flush up against the bottom of my rifle and Really Looks Cool! I have gone on the Mossberg Site but they are always Out of stock or Not Available! ????? Think they must have Stopped Making Them for some Reason! ??
Just got 2 702 plinkster 25 round from Midway.
I hate loading these 25 rd mags even with tool they are a big pain to load the mossberg factory mags are almost as bad
I'm not even marginally surprised.

@@TheHide Sorry to be a negative nancy. I just despise promag. They profit on the premise that most people wont deal with the warranty system over that inexpensive of an item.

You need to use the loader for the mag. then they hold exactly 25 rounds.
This is why I spent the $40 on the mossberg 702 25rd mag (tax included of course), I will not waste money on 3rd party trash. This is just another reason to not buy ProMag but on a happier note, glad to see the Rossi again.
Yeah im still on the hunt for the Mossberg mag mag to review as well. No one around me ever have them or online it seems. So yeah hopfully the replacement will work better but we'll see... I had the exact same issues from the factory mossberg 715t mag that was supplied with my 715t...

I’ve had one good mag from them and it was for my bersa thunder 380. The rest were junk.

There are no available larger capacity magazines from any company for the WMR models, including Mossberg and Rossi. Unfortunately they are stuck with only 10. The one in this video is for the Mossberg 715t(tactical).
Pro Mag is often a let down.
Promag is ALWAYS a let down. They prey on those who just haven't learned their lesson yet.
I just pull down the spring and keep it down and it fully loads🤷♂️

Fuck i cant find a 10 round for mine i got mine bran new in 2019 and it came with mossberg 25 round mag and i been looking for 10 rpund
you bought the wrong 25rd mag. The 702 version has the 10rd portion of the mag isn't sticking out so much. The one you have is for the mossberg 715.T. EDIT - Forgot to mention either mag is junk. There are vids of people altering the mags by changing angle of the 10rd part .
Didnt buy the wrong one, just the only one that was available.. The replacement mag is good to go. Watch the updated video on this from last year.. Thanks for watching.
Good video. I for one have Sworn OFF Pro-Mag as an aftermarket magazine manufacturer. Janky and good imitation but NOT functional.
