Good review, I bought one with a black stock here in Utah for $119, I've fired over 1,000 rounds through it and every time I'm amazed at how accurate it is and how inexpensive it was! great little rifle.
Nice review I bought this rifle for my teenage daughter at Wallyworld for the same price . It runs flawlessly with cci mini mags . I like the stock better than my Marlin bolt action XT - 22 which by the way is a tack driver
Just came across your channel. Really enjoyed the video. I own this rifle as well and plan on getting another. Rossi also makes a 22 magnum semi-auto. That model also shoots pretty well. 👍
I bought one of these about a year ago for an experiment along with an extra magazine for $89. Here in Idaho we have four seasons; although some years are more extreme than others. In August of 2022 I put the rifle in a cloth gun case and put it in the back seat of the car with some 22lr rounds in the gun case zipper pockets. I wanted to see if it would rust during the year. Every couple of months I would take the gun out, and shoot it; even if the weather was bad and I would put it back in the case even if it had rained or snowed on it. No rust. The purpose was to see if a gun could be kept for emergencies in a vehicle without having to worry about it and what better gun than the cheapest one on the market. As a side note, I decided to keep the gun, even though my intent was to sell it after the experiment. Its just too fun to let go.
Phenomenal little .22 rifle, crazy reliable and best bang for the buck in all of the gun world. 1,200 rounds through mine so far and still going strong. I did do an initial cleaning and lube when I first took it out of the box. Kind of want to see how many I can get through it without a cleaning.
The Rossi RS22, Mossberg 702, 715, 715T, 715p, & the Citadel Trackr are all the same rifle built in the same factory. I have 8 of the Mossberg 25 round magazines and didn't have the problems you had with yours so it's possibly a hit or miss on the magazine. But I really enjoyed the video review
I really enjoy my RS22 and I love that word, "Cheap" but this rifle is Not cheap at all. It just has a Low Price! This has been my first rifle that I purchased since moving to Florida and I only shoot it in the Fall & Winter Months at my Local Outdoor Range. I don't remember how much I paid for it but I know it was a very Low price and it is worth every cent because it has proven to be very reliable, accurate and great quality for that low price! Mine came with two 10 round mags and I Later purchased Three 25 round magazines from Midway, made for this gun and they work great! I also changed the Stock and purchased a Folding Stock from Pro Mag, which was only $70 and easy to install! I can't say enough good things about this rifle! It's a lot of rifle for that Low Price!
Bought the black model back in 2019 black Friday deal for $89.99. Added a Barska 9x32 scope. Shoot golf balls consistently at 70 to 90 yds. Very accurate and budget friendly. Bought a second one in forest green for my barn gun. I'm really pleased with em.
I am very disappointed with 25 round mag. Yet, I took your advice to depress the spring by something like 'shish kebab' and it works. However, on 25 loaded rounds the spring pushing up so hard that one of the first rounds may jam. Secondly, do you have an engineering idea about modifying 'shish kebab' design into something marketable. I believe, it may be a break through. Also, the spring should be modified to release pressure more gradually to avoid first rounds jamming.
It fucking suck I have now put 200 rounds through it and the trigger does not reset have to pull the charging handle back after every shot to reset the trigger feeds and ejects but trigger don’t reset might as well be a bit or action

Hell ya that’s awesome thanks for the info
If you pull the bolt back and press in it will hold the bolt open.
Yeah
Mossberg 702 plinkster is same gun. Magazines will interchange.
Thanks I hope it is interchangeable cause having to reload so often is my only complaint so far doing some testing in the morning 😊
That is a very sweet deal!

Annoying as hell
Where to buy
Walmart
Jams excessively!
Never had that issue maybe the ammo?
If it jams excessively, it’s probably the magazine.😊
Favorite comment add a sight nothing crazy lol😂

What ammo you shoot through it
@@JTSHOOTERREVIEWS cci stingers and a even tried a federal cheap ammo
Wow that’s very strange
Interesting notion of 'shish kebab"
Two shots shy of ten rounds
Oops
Mine only held 8 until the spring in the magazine got worked in a bit. Now it holds 10 as advertised.
It's more correct to say that the Rossi bought a license to produce Mossberg's platform. Also, Rossi is owned by Taurus. @JTSHOOTERREVIEWS
Okay thanks I did not know that
Trigger pull is just tad hvy
A little
