It really was a great place for the family! I wish they hadn't played the music and microphone quite so loud right at the pool area, but we had lots of beach area to relax at. It was worth the low cost for the day!

WOW! Thanks so much for sharing this, I was there in 1998, I know a very long time ago, the funny thing is it has not changed at all!! The only thing that has changed was the room decor 9which I looked up), and the buffet set up. I showed my friend that I went with and we pulled out our videos and pictures and it is literally exactly the same. It actually brought tears to my eyes as it was like a time machine taking us back to such a special time. Thank you again for sharing, so glad you got to experience a wonderful vacation 😀

Let's GO!! It was a decent place to hang out! Both pool and beach there! I think the buffet food was better than the grill but they still had a lot to offer!

Great review! Do they offer Towels? Is lunch only served at the Beach Grill for lunch? We were last there back in 2000 for our Honeymoon. Nice to see they offer a day pass.
For our experience, we had booked directly through the resort and we got breakfast and lunch included as well as towels. I know the price has increased now (like most things) but it was still a very fun place to spend the day!

Hi Nancy that is a crawfish not a langustine . When we were on carnival my husband and I laughed when it came to the our table . We are from Baton Rouge ( south Louisiana) we eat them ALL the time lol
It was really a cute little thing, anyway!! I think my daughter really loved it! I believe crawfish, AKA "crawdads" are good eating, aren't they?! We have friends that do boils every year (and the suck the heads out of them!!) I don't think I would do that...but I have heard it is a developed taste!

The real "Slim Shady"has been doing that for close to 30 + years ..great guy 😊 The light house is still on the point on the land RCI bought..the bell tower is what is gone now at the Port entry. 😢😢
Oh YES!! You are totally correct about the lighthouse versus the bell tower! I do miss that yellow bell tower! But that cruise port is really coming along now a days!!

We had access to the restrooms and out by the beach there were showers, but no private showers/changing areas at this resort for day pass guests. Unfortunately the prices have gone up for day passes here, but it is still a great option to consider while in Nassau.
HI, can you please tell me how the ocean floor was in front of Breezes? I think I see allot of coral and wonder if you can swim and walk in the water w/o it bothering you? tks
That whole front walk in area is done now.

I enjoyed your video. It sounds fun. I have a question: Are you required to have a passport to get off ship, go to Breezes or to get back on ship?

Hello there Jenifer and thanks for your question: you do not need your passport to get off the ship, in fact from the US you only need your birth certificate and driver's license to get onto the ship. However, I do advise you to look into getting a passport since it makes it easier and faster for getting on/off the ship, and it's very good to have in hand in case you miss the ship. If you keep your passport in your safe, and miss the ship for any reason, typically the staff will get your passport and give it to the port authorities on land so you can get it to fly home or to the next cruise port. I bet you are going to have an AMAZING time together!!
Thanks for the video we just requested a day pass for when we are going. Was it easy for you to get a taxi back since yours never showed? My biggest fear is not being able to get back when we want or need to leave. Any info would be appreciated :)
It was very easy to catch a taxi! Absolutely was no concern and we didn't have to wait at all; there were lots of taxi's at the resort ready to take us back to the ship. We got back in plenty of time - it was only a 10 min or so ride. Thanks for watching!!

What do you think Nancy, if you had a choice, this resort or a ship day when everyone is off? We love port ship pool days!
We usually love to get off the ship at ports, just to explore. It's part of the "adventure" to me. But I absolutely understand how the option of staying on board with a pool to yourself might be a fun option as well. We might eventually try it!
So I have a question. What time where you about to go to the resort? The times online say no earlier than 10:30. We arrive there at 8AM and leave by 4. Wouldn't be much time spent there.
Great question! This resort is only 15 minutes away from the cruise port (with decent traffic). We were at port from 8am to 5pm and we felt like we had a nice amount of time there. They did let us check in as soon as we got there, which was probably around 10:00-ish, and it was great to grab breakfast and lunch at the resort before heading back to the ship (we headed back around 3:30 but you'd probably want to leave by 2:30.) I guess you'd have to make that call if it's worth it to you or not. Hopefully you have an amazing cruise!
Did you have to pay for any food or drinks with alcohol or was literally everything all inclusive ?
This was literally all-inclusive except that we did pay for the banana boat ride we took (it was through a different vendor). It was a wonderful day there and we would recommend it!

No, the taxi wasn't included in the price, and unfortunately like most things the price has increased since we posted this video. It's still a great place to hang out for the day in Nassau!

Thanks for watching and for your question. We paid $10 per person but I think there might have been better deals if we had looked around a bit more. Coming back from the resort to the cruise terminal, it cost only $6 per person!
What the Day Pass for? Do you need a Day pass if you have all inclusive?
Hi there! This is one way to enjoy an all inclusive resort when you get to the port on a cruise. It’s not needed if you are staying at the property. Thanks for watching!
$60 didn't include food, did it?
This was in 2022 and yes, it did include food & drinks (including alcoholic drinks). It now costs $100 per person for a day pass, which includes food and drinks, $125 per person for a day pass that also includes breakfast. I suggest you go directly through the resort to buy a day pass if you are interested in doing that. It definitely was worth the money for what we received for the day and a very fun time!
