- The Sea Otter downhill track gets a lot of hate because it's not super technical but it all comes down to the small details to put together a fast time. It's a unique challenge and with times so tight the smallest line choices can end up making a big difference. Let me know if you want to see more of this type of video.

Really nice breakdown of the lines here! There is so much to learn from watching what the pros do in slo mo and your commentary really helps to put things in context. With your tone, I keep expecting you to slip in a dry joke here and there. Keep this up dude!
More of this! Rad!
Thanks for the feedback!
I just got first place today on the course and your video was a big part of it. Thanks
Killer! Nice work out there
I really enjoyed this breakdown. A lot of times I just watch pros and think "wow, that was crazy, they are so fast" but this showed all of the tiny details into every aspect of why they are so fast. Very interesting
I’d love to see more content like this!
Learned so much about MTB racing. I would’ve hit every braking bump and squared up every corner. Gotta start learning these lines
Haha glad you learned something.
Love the line choice stuff, super interesting. You gonna be at the georgetown CES this weekend?
Possibly. A but if a hard one to spectate so not sure if it’s worth it
That looks like fun. Are those trails open to the public when events aren’t going on?
I’m not sure actually. I know it’s not maintained outside of the event. I think it’s technically closed
@@briancahal No, never open except during SOC. There is an active gun range on it.
Your voice kinda reminds me of Jordan Boostmaster haha
I'm guessing that rider you didn't know on the transition was Amy Morrison? Maybe?
Don’t think so, Amy has that red white and blue sleeve. National champ!
@@briancahal Julie duvert I believe
u js gotta be good at fire road riding to do well
👍👍👍
this gotta be the least technical dh track in the country
