I have same model in white last couple years. I painted the pickguard and truss rod cover green holographic glitter and got a case and It’s worth at least $500 in sex appeal now. Lol I call it El Conejita Blanca.
Hi, I looked into getting one of these NOD 59 models but am put off by the Pau Ferro fretboard. You claim yours is rosewood. Doesn’t make sense. I have tried guitars with Fau Perro fretboard before and never liked how the fretboard feels. It is a dealbreaker for me. Shame, because the rest of this make looked really impressive.
From what I can tell the older versions had rosewood fretboards, as you can see in the video this one is definitely rosewood. The newer versions have a "D* on the pickguard and a bit of a different tailpiece route

I’ve played a vintage 59dc3 deluxe most my life and it’s remarkably similar feeling guitar despite different models.
