Hola mi amigo. Feliz año nuevo Muchas gracias por este video, Soy learning so much from your videos. So I’ve been learning Spanish with the Duolingo app since June 2020. I’ve also been using CZcams videos to start learning un poquito de español, pero quiero really aprender mas. I’ve been looking for the Spanish alphabets to improve on my pronunciations; but I can’t find any. Por favor, do you know where I can find any. Muchas gracias
Also, what other ways can I learn Spanish beyond using the Duolingo app and watching CZcams videos, as I really want to sharpen my Spanish from an elementary level to at least a professional proficiency level? Gracias y I look forward to hearing from you soon 😊
Feliz año nuevo amigo! Gracias por estar aquí. I would recommend that you keep consuming as much Spanish as possible. Most important is to watch videos with subtitles in both Spanish and English or read and listen to Spanish books that have both the Spanish and English texts. You can find many of these types of books by guys like Olly Richards. Look him up on Amazon and look for his bilengual books or something like that for Spanish.
@@SpeakSpanishFaster Gracias ☺️
This is amazing learning variety of greeting in almost todo español hablantes, very useful sir Rocky, gracias😎😎
No problem Jocep! Thanks so much for watching :)
Another tip just to throw out there i have a hard time with responses and sometimes putting my answer together because i and maybe some others have a hard time putting the sentences or responses together the correct way. Is there any way you could help out with this????
No problem David, thanks for asking. I will put together a video on this topic!
@@SpeakSpanishFaster Thank you so much no pressure💯
Because I am learning spanish as an english speaker. what do you recommend To learn first . I know the alphabet . Do you think I should start with basic vocabulary or like with colours, numbers, the weather?
I don't think you should focus on any of that for now focus on consuming Spanish content and comparing it with English translations getting started. What you want to do is get a lot of Spanish Input.
I am finding your greetings helpful.
Excellent Dusty - I'm so happy I could help!
In English we use good evening instead of good night when not pertaining to sleep.
Lol! Your speak Spanish faster anuncio came on during this video. 😅😅

What about wepa ? Is it it like hola but ma borinken
Hey Gasper, WEPA means like WOW or like YEAHHH!! Excited, you know?
@@SpeakSpanishFaster - Thank you for clarifying because the way some men in NYC were using it to "greet" me I thought it WAS a greeting! 🤦🏾♀️😆😅😂
Oh damnn 🤣 thanks , i read it on some forum that was as greating like saying hey ... guess you u cant trust everything u see on internet haha entonces es una expresión de sorpresa
@@Gappyyx Honestly, it probably could be used when you first see someone you're excited to see!

@@SpeakSpanishFaster oh thanks
"Que pasa" more properly translates to "What's going on"
Personally for me i prefiere to use the formal way
Hola. Gracias por este video. I hope I said that right. I had a question. In the movie "Scarface" when Manny introduces Tony to Omar for the first time, Manny says, "Que se cuenta, senores?". When I put that in Google translate it just means "What one counts", but a friend of mine from Peru says that people say that sometimes in Peru and it means "What's up?" and oddly enough there is a Spanish Dict. entry that says that they use it in Peru and Spain. But Manny and Tony are from Cuba. Do they use this expression in Cuba? Or is it a movie mistake? Have you ever heard this used in Caribbean or Puerto Rican Spanish? Felice Ano Nuevo! Clip from Scarface where they say it: czcams.com/video/ElwgflXTyJ8/video.html
Hey Tek, this is great attention to detail. Que se cuenta to me seems like a similar introduction to Que me dices? - Remember the verb contar means to count but also means to tell. So it's a synonym of decir. So que se cuenta can translate to "what does one say?" Basically meaning like what's up. I've personally never heard this expression but if I heard it I would know it's an introduction of some sort. It's possible that this expression is used in Cuba but it could be. Thanks for the comment my friend!
@@SpeakSpanishFaster Thank you. I didn't know that contar had two meanings. It makes sense now. Que le vaya bien!
In Mexico you will hear “que cuentas?” Which is kind of like saying “que dices?”, -what do you have to say. Here are some common responses that aren’t in the textbooks: “ahí andamos”- were getting by, “nada mal”-not bad, “aqui nada más”- here, nothing more, “dos tres”-so so, “la misma cagada”-the same sh*t, “de maravilla”-wonderful, “todo chingón”-everything is f*ing good.
As someone recovering my Spanish, i can say apps and classes are good at first, but then it helps to learn how they actually talk in the street, and speak with confidence y no tengas miedo de cometer errores!
Hello, how come you dont use como estáis? 2. pers plur, but use 3. pers plural in its place, I have noticed that in your videos?:)
Hello! In Most of all Latin America we don't use the Vosotros from. We just use Ustedes for Plural You.
Olvidaste mencionar, Cómo has ido?
Quela que hay???????
Qué es la que hay!!!!
