Thanks so much, it was a great review! Would love to know more about your helmet with the “eye shields”. Does it help eliminate fog?
The face shield works just like any motorcycle/scooter face shield. You can use any of the many different products to reduce fog. The big advantage with fog is that you can just snap the shield off and wipe off the fog if necessary.
Should get a shield that covers your mouth...I've inhaled too many insects to count over the last 12 years riding recumbent.

Yes the Sprint comes with it as well. And we have them in stock.
Like to hear more about simplicity. Can it be adapted to Greenspeed's Magnum? Is it watertight?
What's the cost range?
This current configuration of the Enviolo hub is ICE exclusive in tandem with the Shimano STEPS system. The Enviolo components are sealed and well protected from the external environment. The addition of the Enviolo hub onto an ICE Trike with an electric assist motor is about $600.

I have a Bafang 750W mid-drive motor on my Ice Adventure. Would the Enviolo ASH be compatible with my trike?
The Enviolo ASH will not work with the Bafang.

No, that is the joy of a geared motor system.

It does! We tested it and are loving it!
Does the Enviolo need to fit with a certain motor? Eg, can I match it to a Bafang motor instead?
Right now I know it works with Shimano and Bosch. I don't think they will be making a Bafang option.
Does this have a throttle or can it be be configured with one just in case I don’t want to peddle.
It does not have a throttle and cannot be configured with one for this system. We do carry a throttle hub drive motor kit, different from this setup.
What type of helmet are you using with built in visor??

How hard is it to add a BELT drive in lieu of chain?
Since the system is not engineered for a belt drive, the whole drivetrain would have to be reworked.
As I understand it, there are no belt drives for recumbent's, seeing as how long the chain is.
Why doesn't Enviolo Automatiq not work with the Bafang motor?
So the Enviolo is tied into the Shimano system. If Bafang had their own power setup in theory it would work, but none are available that I am aware of.
