This is the first song with Brody as the drummer. It's crazy how well he was able to match their sound.
I think my favorite type of music is metal bands who mix shoegazey postrock elements into their songs. Emberglow was one of my favorite songs of the year and this song matches the love i have for that song.
This song actually surpasses the album for me, don't get me wrong, the album is hands down my AOTY, just this song feels like the piece we were missing from the album.
my AOTY is Take Me Back to Eden with Heavener as a VERY close second. I feel like you cant really even compare the two though tbh

Wow thats a hot take! It doesn't surpass the album for me but im hoping itll be on the deluxe edition of Heavener! agreed it brings a needed element to the album, i wonder why they cut it!
It’s a fabulous song, and I agree it adds a layer to the album that the album didn’t have, which is awesome. But even without this song I think album is more wonderful as is.
Though AOTY is TMBTE for me as well this far. I can’t imagine it being bested. Though there are some incredible challengers!

I really loved this one. Right up my alley (lately). My musical tastes match my mood so, at the moment, I guess I’m craving shoegazy, lush, ambient textures. I find the idea of a title track being released after the album very intriguing. It feels like it wasn't just a second thought, but a deliberate move. Just like Sleep Token dropping singles on back-to-back days. Is this the trend now? Anyway, beautiful song.❤

It's the closer the record was missing for me. Elysium is beautiful, but it didn't feel like a resolution to the record.
The chorus reminds me a lot of the chorus from The Summoning
