It's a colossal work. Some very great songs indeed. I particularly love mother nature, silver moon and altitudes. This album was quite a few years ago now. I hope luca turns out more music of such rich quality because this album is superb

I first heard this album just as I was discovering the art of Turner and the two will always be linked in my heart and mind . To see the great art of Turner with this as a soundtrack is incomparable. I love classical music but nothing can match this greatness by luca .

Bueno, el Dark Wings me quedó debiendo demasiado a mí, un disco plano y medio monótono donde lo que lo salva es la interpretación SOBERBIA de Fabio. Ellos pueden dar aun más (of Fire), y por eso creo que el segundo disco sin Luca va a ser mejor.
Bueno bueno! Si el Dark Wings of... Te parece plano, creo que no tengo nada que decir, es algo que rebasa mi comprensión. Para mi Alex Staropoli y Luca Turilli son unos verdaderos genios de la música, aunque como ya lo expresé, me quedo con el Loco Turilli. Saludos!

Just wanted to respond to flom my. If you loved this, then check out the new album from Luca Turilli`s Rhapsody that just came out called Prometheus. It's also so amazing that all of the orchestral music in this album were written by Luca Turilli himself. There was nothing borrowed from any composer. It was 100% his music. The same was true for all of the orchestral music in Rhapsody of Fire, with the exception of The wizard's last rhymes on reign of a thousand flames which has some lines from the new world symphony.

I saw them live last time they came to Paris, for their Promotheus Tour. Was my first Rhapsody concert, Lucas is awesome on stage Oo'.
They messed up a bit the introduction but the show was great anyway. Even if I loved the new album, I have to confess I'm a bit less in touch with the theme...But hey, still one of the best concert of the year :D

I love the whole album but there's something about Mystic and devine it's just it's on my head and my canker out of it so earworm. Find out what this song is really about it's quite interesting
started listening, so far not heavy as rhapsody, less metal and more opera but beautiful, very ambitious, I can imagine it as a big theater play.
You can hear the difference between Luca Turilli and other symphonic metal writers. Not taking anything away from these other bands like Symphony X and others, but you can tell Luca writes in the same way that classical composers do. The majority of these bands use keyboards and computers software to produce the orchestral parts of their songs. They write all of the music for each instrument the same way just like a normal rock or metal band. Luca on the other hand, writes and arranges each musical part for each voice and instrument individually, like the great composers did. The majority of the other symphonic metal bands out there don't do that. That is why Luca Turilli is the best.
Smartguy561 That"s exactly what I thought the first time I listened to this album. I'm quite impressed as well by the vocal part in "Mother Nature", and its perfect interpretation by Turilli ! I like how some artists are able to fill the gap between classical music and metal, can't help mysel but think to Malmsteen and his concerto for electric guitar which sounds like gold to my ears...

Sou tão fã desse cara que deixei de acompanhar Rhapsody Of Fire, perdi o tesão na banda essa, sinto a falta de um quê do toque épico nas músicas. E eu ainda espero/sonho com um Prophet Of The Last Eclipse part. II de volta com Olaf Hayer nos vocais...

Yo no soy muy aficionado al Power Metal, se me hace duro tragarme un disco entero por lo ampuloso si hablamos concretamente de este artista. Sin embargo cositas sueltas si. Me ha encantado la melodía del estribillo de Pyramids and Stargates.

I love this album, real masterpiece! Unfortunately it's compressed to death, literally. Some songs even have audible clipping. It's a pity great music is treated in such horrible way.
