    FAQ: (Questions that are asked to me OFTEN, will answer here)
    Q: Why is the video in TWO Parts?
    A: Copyright reasons. I can show more of the movie to you guys within multiple parts. Depending on the movie I might do THREE parts or sometimes just ONE.
    Q: Why is a small portion of the video completely muted?
    A: Copyright reasons. Sometimes I get hit with copyright claims AFTER the video has already been posted, my only choice is to refute the claim but if CZcams denies it, I have to either take down the video or mute the small portion they are claiming. If the video has been up for a while, it is much easier for me to mute this small portion in the YT studio and then unmute it months later after people aren't watching the video as much.
    Q: Why is the movie not as loud as I want it to be, why can't you show more of it uncut?
    A: Copyright reasons. Notice a pattern here? Most of your questions will likely be answered with some type of copyright related reason.
    Q: Why is the movie footage flipped?
    A: Again, copyright reasons. I am watching the movie the normal way, it is only flipped for the video.

    Bit of symbolism for you when Brooke's leaves prison the shot looks back into the prison showing he has no hope and wants to return but when Red leaves the shot goes through the gate showing Red is ready to move on since Andy gave him purpose, it's the same with the bus scenes Brooke's is holding the bars where Red is holding his bag.

    Fun fact: The movie isn't about Andy its about Red hes the one who got redemption not Andy, Andy was never guilty so he didn't need redemption.

      @dr.k8610 Před 2 lety +1

      The original novella actually never made it clear like the film that Andy was innocent, you only have his word to take for it. I think it would’ve been an interesting take, but I do like the story of Red’s redemption

    • @nissy9220
      @nissy9220 Před 2 lety

      I don’t think the redemption part meant one single prisoner. Red was guilty, he didn’t do anything that ‘redeemed’ himself in the eyes of the law except serve a lengthy sentence. He was a good person to other prisoners and the viewers eyes. That was it

    • @SirBroadcast
      @SirBroadcast Před 2 lety

      @@nissy9220 It was about his personal redemption. Not what people saw as redemption. In simple terms through Andy he was able to forgive himself for what he did (which is only addressed in the novel).
      But I should have worded what I said a little better.

    • @rickardroach9075

    Little trivia: in the original Stephen King novella, Red is actually an Irishman, described as 'a kid with a big mop of
    carroty red hair' when he arrives at the prison in 1938. But Morgan Freeman is obviously a great choice for the role, even if not 100% fitting the physicals. And I love that they left the line about him being an Irishman. :)

    I don't know if you do comedy, but Tim Robbins was in a movie called Bull Durham (1988). It's about two minor league baseball players: one, an up-and-coming young pitcher, Nuke LaLoosh, who's bound to make the majors if he can stop being a screw-off (Robbins), and an older guy, a catcher on his way down, Crash Davis (Kevin Costner) who is assigned to teach Nuke what the game is about and what life is about. Also part of the "team" devoted to getting Nuke to straighten up is an older woman, Annie Savoy (Susan Sarandon) who likes young men and baseball. The script was written by Ron Shelton, who was a minor-league ballplayer himself. He also wrote White Men Can't Jump and other movies that are about sports, but even more so about men.

    I hadn't actually thought about it, but I never wondered why the real reason Brooke's didn't rob the grocery to get sent back. It's a great example of prison fully doing what it intended to do: rehabilitate inmates. Brooke's did not want to commit crimes anymore but at the same time, he was so old at that point, there was nothing else left for him. It must be an ethereal feeling to be trapped in the middle like that.

      @@Zombiesnyder13 I'm aware, he was showrunner for only the 1st season. And I've heard of the plans he had for future seasons and I didn't like the sound of it so I am kinda glad it went in the direction it did instead. Although he is a fantastic director, I just didn't like the ideas he had

    I know you love your shooty shooty bang bang movies 😂😂😂 but please can we have more movies like this. Watching too much of that stuff warps your mind. Opening scene you said Andy is gonna go after the guys that killed his wife so you were kinda expecting a revenge action thriller maybe for a second and at the end you check for end credits. I'm messing with you of course but there is a little bit of truth to what I'm saying if you're honest with yourself.

      I was not expecting an action thriller at all lol. A murder scene doesn’t make a movie an action thriller. And honestly I’ve seen plenty of movies that aren’t action w/ after credits so I usually check to make sure but it’s not an older thing, usually more for movies from the past decade

      @@MovieFusion I know bro, I was messing but I would honestly love you to do more movies out of your comfort zone. I love my superhero/horror/creature feature and action movies too but your channel gets saturated by it. Hey I'll stick around whatever you watch because you're reactions and breakdowns are awesome.

      @@NimpanZ Honestly I do though, a lot of the movies I watch here aren't even my choices, it's what you guys vote for. A lot of the time it does end up being movies I normally wouldn't watch but I usually end up enjoying.

      @@MovieFusion Around 250 uploads in the last year. Some movies split into 2 videos, some trailer reactions, some q&a's etc. Here are the ones that aren't horror/slasher, superhero, creature feature, fantasy, action/adventure:
      1 Shawshank
      2 knives out
      3 interstellar
      4 fight club - (borderline)
      5 saving private Ryan
      6 sixth sense
      That's pretty much it. That's what I meant by saturation. I know the Patreons get to pick the plays and your reactions and breakdowns are always amazing regardless of what is chosen but if you want to grow, set parameters for them. Ask them for one week to suggest movies with little to zero violence. Half of them won't have a single clue because it's harder than you think, the other half may just come up with incredible suggestions.

      @@NimpanZ I mean.. you're talking about saturation, but you listed like 5-6 different genres that I have done. There aren't that many more genres past that lol
      Regardless, there's more to diversity than just the genre. Again though, I just watch what you guys mostly want to see or what is popular at the moment. I'm open to anything, but I don't make movie watch decisions purely off of doing something completely different every time
      And anyways, it is okay to have preferences. I don't intend on watching any romantic comedies on the channel for example, because those are not the type of movies I'd watch for this channel for obvious reasons.
      I appreciate the suggestion, but I actually do not think that method would help growth. CZcams encourages consistency more than anything, especially when that consistency includes popular uploads. Doing movies that people on my channel do not care to watch won't really help.
