The thing that sets Jeselnik apart to me is that he plays the devil incarnate. His jokes aren’t actually offensive because he’s not playing it like he’s in the right, or ‘just joking around’, he’s playing it like he’s evil and so it’s funny.
yeah I love how unapologetic he is. Really separates him from his contemporaries, I like him😊

I can never accurately pick out the punchline. It's just genius joke writing.
Anthony is the master of diversion, aversion, and subversion. This is why he can get away with being 90% setup and 10% punchline. The punchline is always worth it.
Thats because things are only "too far" when they aren't funny. In Anthony's jokes, comedy always comes first. It's not shock value for shock values sake. Dudes great.

You guys must listen to comedian called Sam Kinnison, he passed away , but he was hilarious.
He adds a step to the format he has a set up then a misdirection that you think is the punchline then the real punchline that changes the joke completely and makes it where even the darkest mind can't guess the punchline
Anthony is great as all of his jokes are just that, hypothetical for the most part with a bit of it based in truth with misdirect. Funny dude

You guys should react to some celebrity roasts. Jeff Ross is the king of roasting people. He has several videos out there where he just tears apart the celebrities. They are quite funny. Greg Giraldo Roast Collection is one of the funniest I have seen. He is brutal as well. Just a suggestion for another rabbit hole to go down. I think you might find them very funny and entertaining. It's great to see celebrities be uncomfortable and be made fun of.

The Brits have great taste in comedians. They love Stanhope, and Bill Hicks. Jimmy Carr loves Jeselnik, Frankie Boyle loves Maria Bamford. These arent household main stream comedians, but they are very good. I wish these guys would do Dave Atell, who writes very cleverly, I think theyd enjoy him.

Can you imagine being offended by a Jeselnik joke? He’s an absurdist..how do ppl not figure that out at the very 1st bit? Btw I think comics like him need huuuge balls bc not only are you saying crazy shit you’ve also gotta be so comfortable w/silence during the build. Anthony Jeselnik is the M. Night Shyamalan of comedy. You know there's gonna be a twist in the end, and once people expect the twist it's harder to make it work. I know Anthony is much better at giving a good twist, but on Shyamalan's defense, there's nothing funnier than that killer plants bullshit.
