The mixtrack 3 has more features than the party mix aside from not having a soundcard but I think this is the only way to shave off the price for people like me who have a tight budget.

I really don't want to pay that $19 monthly or $299 one time or the $99 per controller. I just need it for cue-ing a song right after another without pausing in-between songs. Thank you.

So if I wanted an upgrade from this ( a controller WITH a sound card) that I can use with virtual DJ what controller would you recommend? as a step up from this one? Thanks!
So I know the Numark 3 doesnt has a sound card therefore my only output is my mac laptop. The problem is that theres no audio when I play a deck, I already registered the device in the Numark and already registered the license in Virtual Dj, and already downloaded the new one but I got nothing :(
You could do that, but you'd be the only one hearing the music. You need your laptop headphone port to go to the speakers. A solution is to either buy a soundcard or a controller with a soundcard built in like the SB2 or Mixtrack 3 Pro.

Not sure what you mean by all function button. If you can connect the speakers to your pc then that could work. The sound card limitation is you won't have the ability to listen thru your headphones.

+tmitchable The upgrade from LE to pro virtual dj is only $99 if you own the mixtrack 3. I did a video on Serato Intro vs Serato DJ and it is not worth it. On Virtual DJ you should be fine without the upgrade but you get 30 days to try it out once you register your controller so test it out and see for yourself. Hi there I bought one 2and hand and it's my first controller, after 20 days of using my controller cant be used and can only be used on laptop and an icon comes up saying to register, I turn it off and play for 10 minutes and it says register again, so everytime I play for 10 minutes I have to firm it off then do it repeatedly. I'm not the first owner as I bought on FB but is there anything I can do to play for free permanently? Thanks
So sometimes like w traktor controllers you’d get a full license but have to ask previous owner to deactivate. I think this controller doesn’t come with full license so you may have demo’d the real version. Either buy full version or maybe try to reinstall the light version.

You can use your yeti. The better option is to make sure you buy a dj controller with a soundcard. The mixtrack 3 pro has a soundcard not the regular mixtrack 3.

You could use a headphone Jack splitter out of you PC. Then you would have an out to your headphones and an out to your mains

You can register it yourself I believe. Go to numark dot com and once you register it it will give you your own license key.

Let's say I don't use my headphones, but use the AUX cord connected to the speaker. Will that substitute for me to still hear the music?
