Next time you drive one of these around you should turn everything to 2 instead of 3. You will have a lot more fun and the car becomes more wild. You would never be able to take a corner like that and drop to 2nd gear if it wasn’t for TC being on 3. Great driving all in all!

Man you have carved out a nice existence for yourself job wise. I would literally kill to drive a 488 Challenge Evo at the track (and Yas Marina no less). You are definitely the best descriptive utiliser of the English language in the motor industry. Becoming quite a handy racing driver too.

FXX cars are way faster! But more restrict clients!
The FXX program is reserved for the upper echelon of the Ferrari clientele. The Challenge Program, apart from buyin every possible special edition Ferrari that's put out, is one way to eventually work your way up to get into the FXX Program.
How does the acceleration compare to that very special electric land rover that you filmed at Caffeine and Machine?

Just a personal opinion, but it may be the fastest Ferrari you have ever driven, but can I throw in there it may be the most beautiful you have ever driven? That 488 Evo was absolutely stunning.

Lap time wise how far off is the 488 Challenge Evo compared to the full blown 488 GT Modificata? I gotta think the Modificata is a decent bit quicker? Both are special cars just seems like the Modificata is on another level.
I think Challenge Evo is basically GT3 car without some extra downforce.
But then again, the Challenge line blurs the line between it and the proper GT3 racer imho

The Ferraris in dtm have more aero more power etc so the challenge would be slower
@@bread-od6mj Wouldn't it be the other way around? The DTM cars will have to be restricted in some ways to even out the playing ground whereas there's no real restrictions in running the Challenge cars, no?
@@rahulsudhir666 no the DTm cars are a gt3 car vs the challenge has less aero and power so the gt3 car will be consistantly quicker over a race/lap

Would love for you to compare this to the AMG GT3.
AMG GT3 has to compare to the 488 GT3 not the Challenge, the Challenge is faster on strait but slower on corners ! The 488 GT3 is faster on a slow and medium track , but in fast tracks like Le Mans, the Challenge is faster! You can see on videos the Challenge cars hit more than 320km/h on Le Mans and the GT3 about 300m/h but in tracks like this one in Abu Dhabi the GT3 cars are faster!
I may be mistaken but I thought the Challenge EVO was more comparable to the GT3s then the traditional Challenge car.

Why do people always send onboard videos of cars. It all good but the viewer want to see external footage as well to get the sense of noise and speed. Inside all super cars sound the same. It’s great for the driver or passenger but not for the CZcams viewing audience
This is what the pista should have been. Pista should have been the standard car. Supercars should not be practical/usable/easy to drive

Really like the paint scheme on the car, which is obviously a "RACE CAR" not a road car. In the US licensing a car has NO bearing on how fast it is. It's 80% about safety 20% the cost of paperwork. Not sure how you came up with the title - UTUBE bullshit lying to get attention? Or was it the country your in?
