My grandfather late Mr.Shanti Ranjan Ganguly(later known as Shanti Moy Ganguly) was a cader of Bengal volunteers.
My father told us when the task was completed my grandfather was of 17 and he and other volunteers told to be Underground.
And he came to Kanpur Uttar Pradesh and Mr Bijoy Kumar Sinha one of the HSRA comrade received him and helped him.

मैं 23 साल पहले मैं 3 महीने कोलकाता में रहा और उसके बाद भी वहा कई बार जाना हुआ. वहां की बसों पर अक्सर BBD पार्क लिखा देखा करता था लेकिन BBD का इतिहास इतना लोमहर्षक है ये पता नही था..ऐसे ऐसे क्रांतिकारी जन्मे थे बंगाल की धरती पर ...आज के बंगाल को देख कर विश्वास नहीं होता..इनके बारे में किताबों तक में नही पढ़ाया गया..ऐसी वीरगाथा तो बचपन से पढ़ाई जानी चाहिए..जय हिंद और सदर नमन इन वीरों को

Bengal has produced many unsung heroes....it's a pity that they are unknown outside Bengal... mostly people only know about Bose probably because talking about bose gives a nice anti congress, anti nehru angle ...others are largely forgotten....

Bengal gave birth to freedom struggle, communism and peasant movements and social reform.. But how many Indian acknowledge their contribution to this field? How many know the name of other Bengali nationalist like Aurobindo, Bagha Jatin, Rash behari Bose, Surya Sen and primer political school like anushilan samiti,jugantor.. I'm not comparing or disrespect to anyone but what the guy Rash Behari Bose did for India is way much influential than anyone else,how many of know him?
