For the first time, the animation makes sense, he thinks he is playing good in his imagination, but it sounds bad irl, but a little kid would still love the sound of the drums no matter what.
TRUE my friend has little cousins that came to my house with her and during night they put my electric piano on FULL BLAST while we were trying to sleep and they cried when their dad told them to sleep which is EVEN WORSE.

Let's be fair, the beat may actually sound like second version but for someone just starting it sounds like the first version.
This was wrong. He doesn't have a snare, he only has 2 floor toms. Unless he has an oversized snare, which would be odd and would sound a lot different than that haha. (Going back through the video I realize the original audio sounds almost like what the big fat snares sound like, but not what was actually played snare sound as that sounds like a very small snare.)

the animation was pretty solid. when the camera was facing him you can't even see the kick pedal so why assume that he's not playing the kick. they got the snare accurate too. this ones a reach
Can be actually seen how he’s moving his leg, so the bass should’ve been audible.
Should have kept the kick drum the same as the original unless the animation showed otherwise.
Yeah, there's no hi hat on the kit, but it's actually good.

Watching inaccurate drum animation never gets old to me. These are great.
The awkward momentary pause before he raises his arms as if he thought “they don’t realize I finished the song” just to be met with more silence after he does it, the animation unintentionally captures a lack of a crowd reaction so well 😂
The lack of rack toms on the kit made it more entertaining for me
I think that’s about what everyone sounds like when they get behind the drums for the first time

Kids On The Slope is the only animated thing I've seen with accurate drum animation. Or any instrument animation really. It's spot on
It might be slightly different and out of the way, but I've always been curious how the anime 'Show By Rock' does with some of their animations. They have full on performances though so it'd probably be a lot more work to find out.
Honestly, sounds like it could be some weird, offbeat progressive song, if you added in some weird instrumentation in time with it.
