One thing that doesn’t fit with this theory is that the Spade King clearly implies that he met the Knight, and holds a great deal of respect for them. At the same time he has a fierce hatred of Lightners. I very much doubt he would respect a Lightner like Papyrus, especially cause he’d likely find him very annoying. And I doubt Papyrus would be very comfortable to put someone as dangerous as the Spade King into power.
That and Papyrus is generally too goofy to pull off a scheme like this, sneaking into the library and especially a school that he has no business being in, and somehow not slipping up and revealing himself at all is very much unlike him.
6:22 is not even abaut them walking into a room that emanates darkness, It's abaut the fact they were siting into the table whit their books open, of you enter a room whit a dark mountain You inmediatly go into the dark world, the only way they could have gone all the way to the table and open their books is if the dark fountain hasn't there when they enter. Also the description of closet in the library saying it has room for a large person may imply that a large person was or will be in there
