Keep It SImple, Keep It Sweet....
they do look almost identical. i have a few connectors that are not used, i think some maybe smog or other options that was just thrown in to make assembly line easier.
you have a social media platform i can chat with you with? and send pictures
yea i have twitter and instagram but rarley use them, i use facebook more. just look up Terry Efurd
I bet that was a little disheartening to take the step back of pulling out the harness, but hopefully it's for the better!
fuck yea im still crying!!!! bad thing is there is no info any were about it but at least i know that harness works with that truck!!!
When you put the v6 harness on did it throw codes?? If so what did you do to fix that. I got same exact truck but heard the v6 has a few plugs that aren’t on the v8 so it’ll throw codes
So I’m doing a 350 swap non vortex on my v6 heard i could use the same harness but my the transmission plug is different since the 350 comes with a 4l60e could I just swap harness truck to truck or is there more to it ??
There both the same tranny v6 or v8, just need to change torque converter.
@@DrivenbyGears if it's a 4.3 V6 the stock converter will stall 2000-2200 on V8
If I'm putting a V8 harness on a V6 is there anything the the computer will see and not run correctly?
I’m just trying to install an HVAC system that I pulled from a 350 v8 into my 262 v6 that doesn’t have AC only heat. Is it best if I remove the HVAC wiring from the 360 harness and wire into my v6 harness or should I use the 350 harness and install that into my v6 truck.
If firwall pin out is same on the 350 go with it
Driven By Gears yes they are both 1988.. if I understood you correctly, I should use the v8 harness and modify it to a v6. I assume removing some wiring since there are two cylinder difference? Bit new to this so I’m learning before I do anything.
@@FaDeDStudios what engine is in it now?
Driven By Gears my truck is a 1988 V6 but the HVAC system that I want to install comes from a 1988 V8 engine. For clarity... Should I replace my v6 harness with a the modded v8 HVAC harness ? Or do I wire the HVAC system into the v6 harness?
@@FaDeDStudios no keep the v6 splice in the hvac
one day we will not be defeated but today wasn't that day!!!
