Welcome to the BU School of Theology

The Boston University School of Theology (STH) began as the first Methodist seminary in 1839. We graduated women before they gained the right to vote. We welcomed East Asians when they were excluded from US citizenship. We trained generations of African Americans- including some of this country’s greatest civil rights leaders-when no one else would admit them. And STH was the first theological school in the nation to appoint non-Christians to its faculty.
History is never over.
The past is a springboard to the future. If you believe religion can be a force
for good in the world, and have the courage to effect it, maybe the next great
STH story will be yours.

Hey, I saw in their website that they give 100% scholarships for PhD candidates in theology. Are you planning to study here?
