Really though. I’ve been using Slicex for as long as I’ve had FL and I prefer it over Edison almost every time, but not one video on CZcams has as this much articulation and understanding that I don’t want to just know how to do something, I need to know what and why I’m doing something a certain way. I don’t really subscribe to any tutorial channels, but I definitely subscribed to this one. Saw you’re comment at the top and I was like, “Damn, I feel that.” 🤟🏼💯

Not my discovery but to get a play-through effect (for those who don't know, meaning the sample doesn't stop at the end marker and plays till you let go). Delete the sustain node, make a new one, drag it all the to the top and drag it really far back considerably and voila, more freedom for better unique sampling but make note: it will have to be recorded.

yo thank you for being thorough, ive been trying to mimic a specific sample used by a popular producer, on and off for about a year & this video helped me understand how i can manipulate the original sample in ways i didnt think i could before!

Navie if you had a class offered, I would definitely pay to take it. You are well-spoken, and your knowledge depth is evident by how well you break down the complex stuff so beginners get it first shot!

Ayyy awesome man, thanks. I did a video a few weeks back on a sampler called Momentum that I use instead of SliceX now. You may wanna check that video out cuz I got sick of SliceX and its limitations too

@@MvnStn I meant this masterclass 😝 But as far as his course, it's well worth it imo! Been in it since the beginning and have progressed so much so quickly. Super active discord. Beat challenges every 2 weeks to push us to try new things and understand new concepts we never would have attempted. I connect really well to his teaching style so was a no brainer for me for sure. If I revisit these old vids a ton you bet I'm hitting those course sections up nonstop as I progress. Lol. Still learning with each watch. Not tryna sound like a salesman, though. Just trying to be honest and support and help others. 😝 Congrats on your upcoming child. That's dope! Good luck choppin too my friend! Stay safe. 🙏

@@MvnStn 🤣🤣 Maybe I needa ask for some commission! Lol. But for real. Went through so many other people before legit learning like I do from Navie. Definitely learned a few super basics from others, but that was more just workflow stuff and shortcuts. Lol. But that's legit! Can't even imagine having a legacy to leave behind. Keep going back and forth. Still have time, though. 😅 Best of luck! Will be dope!
