This is just one way of many. Theres a technique called FILD ( finger induced lucid dreaming) in which you set an alarm to when you regularly enter REM sleep, so about 5 hours like man said, and then you only stay awake for about like a couple minutes if anything. And then you lay on your bed without moving and with only your index and ring finger, you pretend to be playing piano and keep doing this until youre barely moving your fingers. Usually you can enter a lucid dream within less than 2 minutes with this technique, and when you think youre in a lucid dream perform a reality check, though you want to be sure to do one where you dont have to move so what you can do is block off air from going into your nostrils (without fingers or anything) and try to breathe, and if you can, then youre in. Though Lotta people have the misconception that once youre in a lucid dream, you can do things just by thinking about it, but you have to really convince yourself that what you want to happen will happen in front of you, or say it will happen behind you and then turn around. Also theres the risk of a lucid nightmare which happened to me once and its absolutely fking terrifying as you are lucid and youre thinking of your worst fears which in turn makes them a thing in the dream. So I tried doing this when I saw this video, it started working for a few nights. But one night it was a nightmare with random SUPER creepy things happening. Since I was aware I was in a dream I tried controlling it, but I couldn’t, so I tried to wake up. I woke up in my bed then I started seeing things in the corner of my eyes and then creepy stuff started happening again, so I woke up into another dream. I tried waking up again 3 more times and kept waking up into more nightmares, it was SO scary. I finally started to meditate in my fifth nightmare and I was able to actually wake up. I stopped lucid dreaming after this experience would NOT recommend, seriously, I still remember the dream in full detail and it terrifies me still. So don’t do this unless you are ready to get spooked.
That was a Lucid Nightmare, it sounds like a Sleep Paralysis, luckily only had a sleep paralysis once and it wasn't scary and only lasted for a few seconds, because once i realized i was in one, i closed my eyes to stop me from seeing things. I still heard things tho,.
@@Australian_Bum in sleep paralysis you wake up kind of but can’t move yet your eyes are open and your brain creates weird mostly spooky terrifying things and noises which you see but you CAN sometimes either wake up or end it I had it once and I was like wtf! I managed to do it once. Your body tests you with a itch or urge to turn over ,if you resist and stay real still and relaxed your body starts the dream state. I got so excited as it felt real i woke myself out of it 😅
i had a dream where every room was plain red and dark and i tried to get out of my lucid dream by slapping myself and then i woke up STILL in my lucid dream. it felt infinite
I had the same experience when I was spider man swinging my webs I somehow realized it was a dream and next moment im in an entirely new place I wanted to wake up but couldnt and just ended up in a dream. This went on for a while until I forgot that I was dreaming and actually woke up
There’s another way to do this, obviously keep the dream journal. But before bed open and close your hand while looking at it five times before you go to sleep. Do this consistently every night before bed and eventually you will bring your conscious self into your dream. No need to have an alarm set, just make sure to write down the dream when you wake up. They will become more and more vivid
As a lucid dreamer that remembers dreams to a detail from the age of 4 It was always interesting to me how people have dreams without being able to control them since it’s their own mind that makes them
Hey, iM sure you probably already know this but I really like dreaming so I'ma just say some stuff about it, Dreaming is a really weird state, I can think, but can't at the same time, I'll say a dream I had the other day, I could still think about social anxiety and solutions to things or just let my mind wander, But never wondered about what was happening, it just felt right yk?
Mate, I don't even sleep 5 hours in a night, and you expect me to wake up then? Also not to mention it already takes me like 1 hour to fall asleep so...
Bro I used to be able to do this but I just didn’t care so I gave up on it But now I will never give it up never gonna let you down never gonna turn around and desert it
I have random lucid dreams all the time. Something that has helped me have better dreams is just when I wake up in the morning thinking "what was that dream last night" even if I didn't have a dream. This is because we typically forget our dreams 10 seconds after waking up, don't panic though. Its okay if you forget just acknowledge that you did in fact have a dream the night prior and you will recall your dreams more. I used to dream like at most once or twice a week but ever since I've started doing this I dream every night, multiple dreams a night. In fact last night I had a dream where I could fly. In dreams if you think it and believe it it'll happen, so keep positive and confident and have fun.
I found out that If you set a alarm about 2 hours before you intend to wake up and shut the alarm right as it goes off and go back to sleep you will dream more vivid dreams and can use that as a platform for lucid dreams going to be experimenting with this more
Dude, whenever I keep a dream journal, I end up remembering so much that I get annoyed and stop writing it down and then I have to wait for a memorable dream to start journaling again. Also I have an issue where about a quarter of my dreams are extremely hard to put into words, so it's really hard to journal those. Yet even with trying so many techniques, I have only lucid dreamt once, and I wasn't even trying.(that's when I started keeping a dream journal to try to replicate it and to remember it.)
I have so many lucid dreams that could give you a full story from when I started having lucid dreams to now and make it into a book. That's how good my memory is while I'm asleep
You know what’s so cool! So I’ve always been able to lucid dream, and basically in my dream I imagine this tall pillar with a bunch of basically thumbnails to dreams, and I basically choose which one to “watch” I have no clue how I do it, it’s like choosing a movie to watch
Honestly, whenever I have a dream (which is rarely) I somehow know I’m dreaming. I always make myself fly/float for some reason. I don’t know how I know it though. I guess I just know the difference between a real and fake/dream world.
I had a lucid dream where I gave 2 people a billion dollars at my school randomly and slapped two girls I didn’t like in the face because I knew I couldn’t get in trouble and they playin on my turf now-
I tried so hard to lucid dream. Saw dozens of videos online and it worked! I remember I woke up in middle of a street and I questioned if this is a dream and it was. If this happens to you then DO NOT get exited and try to be as calm as possible. If you get too exited you might wake up.

@@notjavier3639 I've had multiple, some even more than once. One that i remember i was so young and didn't even know what lucid dreaming was or anything. I was sleeping with my mom and sister together at the time as we usually do when my father isn't home for the night, so I didn't really wanna sleep but my mother made us, so I kept .y eyes open and later I found that whenever I try sleeping but don't close my eyes something like lucid dreaming or sleep paralysis happens, I didn't know I was dreaming until a little later as I was so young. At the time we were waiting for my dad to come home from travelling so I dreamt that we were still awake and then we heard keys and the door opening, we figured it was dad, so we waited till he got the the room and I somehow knew i was dreaming, so i didn't think before i suddenly imagined the person opening the door was not my dad but some monster and once he opened the door suddenly it turned out it indeed wasn't him, but instead some very creepy looking tall man, skin was green, had elf ears and red eyes. We all screamed and ran out of the room, and my mom told us that he is partially blind so if we hide and keep quit he won't find us, i was so scared it was at our house that we lived in at the time but some things were different i.e furniture was differently put. My mom told us to hide behind the couch and under the tables, and we did and indeed the man didn't see us but then the table's glass top suddenly broke revealing my sister who was under it and the man saw her, so my mom came out from behind the couch so the man ran behind her and my sister hid with me and then I woke up, or I thought so, as I woke up I realised I was sleeping in MY bed and that i could see myself like someone behind me standing, i was watching myself in first person waking up and crying as i was scared and went to my mom but i looked a little different like my hair was longer and i was shorter etc. I knew i was still dreaming and tried waking myself up but when I woke up for real i couldn't move at all (sleep paralysis) and i felt that i was hearing voices and seeing black figures walking across the room but after a couple of minutes i could finally move and didn't see anything anymore. I was about 6-7 and happened again at 10-11 almost exactly the same except a few changes. I don't know if that was actually lucid dreaming or sleep paralysis but it felt so real.
I’ve been able to lucid dream by myself for the past 2-3 months and it is awesome the easier way, although it doesn’t exactly ensure the dream to occur it’s like a 50/50 chance. Basically you do whatever you want until you feel sleepy (If you don’t want to wait for that to happen it’ll work the same it’ll just be harder) you then think of random thoughts you have like stuff that happened throughout the day or that one thing you did from 3 years ago. You’re gonna keep that up until you find a thought that sounds louder than the rest, like you’re actually being spoken to or hearing this sound. You’re going to focus on that sound or ones that sound similar until you fall into a deep sleep and that basically just spirals into a lucid dream.
From experience lucidly dreaming a whole night away, DON'T DO IT! The mental drain is high. I've never felt so well rested yet so drained at the same time.

@@galaxyguy4247 I did try closing my eyes, I still saw things though
How do you close your eyes in your sleep?
@@Australian_Bum in sleep paralysis you wake up kind of but can’t move yet your eyes are open and your brain creates weird mostly spooky terrifying things and noises which you see but you CAN sometimes either wake up or end it
I had it once and I was like wtf! AH FUCK WHYS THERE SLENDERMAN WITH RED EYES AND AND FUXKING TEETH IN MY FACE! ARRRGH! waaaait hes not harming me and all the other stuff neither so im either a god or…dreaming
@@poisn1300 Goofy
I managed to do it once. Your body tests you with a itch or urge to turn over ,if you resist and stay real still and relaxed your body starts the dream state. I got so excited as it felt real i woke myself out of it 😅
I cant lucid dream but my brain know when i am in an dream
i had a dream where every room was plain red and dark and i tried to get out of my lucid dream by slapping myself and then i woke up STILL in my lucid dream. it felt infinite
Yes it happens
I think you were in sleep paralysis but i dont know much about this
I had the same experience when I was spider man swinging my webs I somehow realized it was a dream and next moment im in an entirely new place I wanted to wake up but couldnt and just ended up in a dream. This went on for a while until I forgot that I was dreaming and actually woke up
There's a big difference between lucid dreaming and sleep paralysis
I've had sleep paralysis on a couple of rare occasions but also I lucid dream almost every time I dream and I dream in full color
Me watching this at 2:44am- yes yes will try now
There’s another way to do this, obviously keep the dream journal. But before bed open and close your hand while looking at it five times before you go to sleep. Do this consistently every night before bed and eventually you will bring your conscious self into your dream. No need to have an alarm set, just make sure to write down the dream when you wake up. They will become more and more vivid
What happens if I do all of the tricks, yk like seting alarm in my REM period, moving hand like you said at once?
It is not to dream, it is to establish ethical standards in businesses, incorporate quality amongst branches .
My mom almost died from not breathing due to accidental lucid dreams
It isn't a "accidental lucid dream", it's sleep paralysation
As a lucid dreamer that remembers dreams to a detail from the age of 4
It was always interesting to me how people have dreams without being able to control them since it’s their own mind that makes them
Hey, iM sure you probably already know this but I really like dreaming so I'ma just say some stuff about it,
Dreaming is a really weird state, I can think, but can't at the same time, I'll say a dream I had the other day, I could still think about social anxiety and solutions to things or just let my mind wander, But never wondered about what was happening, it just felt right yk?
Same tho, I always thought everyone could control their dreams. The only time I actually have a hard time doing it is when I have sleep paralysis
*”HE TOOK MY DREAM JOURNAL!! ”*
“Five hours after you go to bed”
Bro went to bed past midnight
Mate, I don't even sleep 5 hours in a night, and you expect me to wake up then? Also not to mention it already takes me like 1 hour to fall asleep so...
Lucid dreaming is literally the coolest thing ever, you can fly, teleport, it’s liking having magic powers.
Not until you start having sleep paralysis
Is it just me or you guys are thinking about the song? I still see your shadows in my room can’t take back the love that I gave you.❤😂
The only lucid dreams i have are actually dreams of me in a zombie apocalypse
I thought this was natural- one day I could just do it-
I did too I just thought people could always control their dreams
I’m course who old are you.? I find that as I get older it’s harder to control my dreams
@@bluetooth4916 Really?
@Flxckz Makes sense
I don’t dream often, but when I do it’s always lucid
OMG SAME!
Or you just don't get what is lucid, you have normal dreams probaly
There’s no way for me to be going back to sleep after be awake for more than 10 minutes.
Not him reminding me of shark boy and lava girl with that “dream journal” 😭
ahem, all my lucid dreaming is falling.
Bro I used to be able to do this but I just didn’t care so I gave up on it But now I will never give it up never gonna let you down never gonna turn around and desert it
Lmao wasn’t expecting that
I just got rickrolled-
I was pinching myself in my dream thinking "IS THIS A DREAM?"
Bro fr almost saw her shadow in his move🔥
I accidentally control my dreams but I can also feel them
What do you mean by feeling?
I can lucid dream and feel the dream
I can lucid dream without doing this lol-
Bro same
I just automatically had a Lucid dream without needing 3847 alarms
I'm definitely going to do this
The first lucid dream I had was I was picking up a can of beans
You know what’s so cool! So I’ve always been able to lucid dream, and basically in my dream I imagine this tall pillar with a bunch of basically thumbnails to dreams, and I basically choose which one to “watch” I have no clue how I do it, it’s like choosing a movie to watch
Yes me too for me I feel like I’m playing games and it is pretty fun
Ong I sometimes dream I’m at school with my friends again ,cuz we graduated and don’t hang out as much
I used to have lucid dreams every night.I remember all of them.Absolutely beautiful journey.
I dreamed I was watching Amy Schumer tell jokes and I know it was a dream because people were actually laughing.
This is definitely gives you sleep paralysis instead of lucid dreaming
If you don’t get to exited or scared and just focus on dreaming you will be good 👍
Nah, unless you are severely fucking up your sleep schedule or something. But WBTB is fine as long as you do it responsibly.
Honestly, whenever I have a dream (which is rarely) I somehow know I’m dreaming. I always make myself fly/float for some reason. I don’t know how I know it though. I guess I just know the difference between a real and fake/dream world.
Bruh I lucid dream everyday almost just love it
“Dream journal”
SHARKBOW AND LAVAGIRL FLASHBACK
I had a lucid dream where I gave 2 people a billion dollars at my school randomly and slapped two girls I didn’t like in the face because I knew I couldn’t get in trouble and they playin on my turf now-
😭u are frustrated so slapping dream people
I want to lucid dream but I’m too afraid my mind is gonna dream something creepy up and I won’t be able to escape💀
Sameee
yeah what if you lucid dream about momo or something.
same but um gona try one day...-
I tried so hard to lucid dream. Saw dozens of videos online and it worked! I remember I woke up in middle of a street and I questioned if this is a dream and it was. If this happens to you then DO NOT get exited and try to be as calm as possible. If you get too exited you might wake up.
Sometimes when it happen, I go wild
I haven't been able to lucid dream on years now but i still remember vividly that one night i had a big apocalypse style nightmare and i could literally control what i did in that nightmare... Woke up really confused
Oh hey, i got the same one too and it happened twice
When i was dreaming i knew i was dreaming then i tried to get out of my dream by closing my eyes lol
Bros gonna start dreaming the plot of shark boy and lava girl with that dream journal
Not me thinking about sharkboy and lava girl - “He sTole MwY dWream JworNal!”
“DwReam MaX”
😂
When you can lucid dream every day since i Was 4 or 5 without any Methoden and i didnt even knew that it was something rare 😅
it would be nice 😞
damn, what was your best Lucid dream about?
The last time I had a lucid dream was being chased by zombies and still had time to a convenience store to buy ice cream.
@@Challenger2079 Heh. You can control your zombies in your dream. You in your lucid dreams is basically anos, rimuru, kami tenchi, and the creator. Just that you have a problem with your expectations in a dream.
same. they are so realistic though and i remember every second. one time i took advantage of it and kissed my crush bc i knew there would be no consequences. i love lucid dreaming.
Oh I just lucid dream regularly for no apparent reason. Trust me it’s not cool when it’s a nightmare. It’s like you know it’s a dream but then you forget it’s a dream because a cobra lurches at your face.
EXACTLY.
Idk how but once i saved my self from a nightmare because of lucid dreaming 💀
Its not fair how I always get the nightmares and it is the same exact one everytime.
@@jellythewomanconsumer1590 This is so relatable- I once had the exact same nightmare three times in a row and I got so used to it I tried to change it up and alter the events 😂

Same! Sometimes it's scary tho. I've had many and some were nightmares. Not so cool when you're in a nightmare and can't get yourself to wake up
@@hanarashwan3212 can u explain what a nightmare is like, tell me what you’ve seen, what’s happened, every detail from a nightmare you’ve had
Basically you do whatever you want until you feel sleepy (If you don’t want to wait for that to happen it’ll work the same it’ll just be harder)
you then think of random thoughts you have like stuff that happened throughout the day or that one thing you did from 3 years ago. You’re gonna keep that up until you find a thought that sounds louder than the rest, like you’re actually being spoken to or hearing this sound. You’re going to focus on that sound or ones that sound similar until you fall into a deep sleep and that basically just spirals into a lucid dream.
Yess this last part happens to me! It’s hard to describe it without experiencing it
I almost lucid dream a lot, but I always try to make a nether portal in my dreams and fail, so I just give up and fall asleep in my dream :(
I feel like sleepwalking by lucid dreaming
I didn’t know you had to train to learn how to do this, I lucid dream a lot
