    What happens if the man has children from a previous marriage and wants to marry a kikuyu woman?

    • @moniqmakrine6219
      @moniqmakrine6219  Před rokem

      1.As long as the man had not paid dowry then that does not affect anything.
      2. If it's a traditional marriage, poligamy is allowed.
      3. Civil and religious marriage do not allow for poligamy. But then again, it's worth to note that having children with a person/cohabiting does not qualify as a marriage and therefore, will not affect both the religious and civil legalisation of a union.

    When taking my girl to my parents for the first time, am I supposed to invite her alone or she is supposed to be accompanied by her friends and family members???

    • @moniqmakrine6219
      @moniqmakrine6219  Před 10 měsíci +1

      A girl just goes alone. Usually it's the guy that needs company when visiting the girls parents.

    Who should escort the girl during her first visit to meet her boyfriend's family?

    • @moniqmakrine6219
      @moniqmakrine6219  Před 10 měsíci

      No one. The boy just takes the girl as his visitor. But when the boy goes to visit the girls home for the first time, he first goes with his friends, no negotiations are made, he only introduces himself as a friend. The second time, he goes with a few wazees and that is when formalities are started( he has to carry some gifts')

    Where is the authentic audio, the speeches, the native music? The photographer is good but the essence of the wedding is lost by not playing the original soundtrack, those are memorable and what make each wedding special and unique.
    All other countries are proud of their individual ethinc languages, let's not be brainwashed..We need to hear the ethnic original soundtrack, the parents speaking their native language and traditional dances, the native spoken blessings....the essence of the wedding is lost, let kikiyu be heard, let's not be politically bullied that we can't hear our language at our functions..all other groups in Kenya speak their languages why not us.
