Jio Fiber has expanded its postpaid subscription options, introducing six “entertainment plans” that are being promoted for their 'zero entry cost' for new customers. Starting from Rs. 399 a month, the new Jio Fiber postpaid plans offer access to up to 14 over-the-top (OTT) content streaming platforms at an additional price of Rs. 100 or Rs. 200 - depending on how many the subscriber chooses. The streaming platforms available as part of these plans include Disney+ Hotstar, Zee5, Eros Now, and SonyLIV. Existing prepaid users can also migrate to any of these new Jio Fiber postpaid plans.
The new Jio Fiber postpaid plans are available to all users starting Friday, April 22, Jio said in a press statement.
New Jio Fiber users signing up for any of this postpaid entertainment will not have to bear any ‘entry cost', according to the company - as the required Internet Box (gateway router), set-top box, and installation are included at no additional cost. However, customers will have to sign up for at least three months at first, which helps Jio retain users and cover the upfront costs.

I also had a chat with customer care. And they said a bill would be generated on the 1st of every month for the data used during the previous month. You must pay the bill before its due date. Once you renew or make payment after the due date you will be charged *100 or 2%, whichever is higher (according to your plan), when you renew and then you will keep your connection. That means if you disconnect you have to pay either ₹100 or 2% of your plan, whichever is higher.

I want to Correct here that the payment you make in Jio Fiber Postpaid is not of Previous month it is charge in advance for the month you are going to use e.g. if you have installed it on 16th may and billing cycle is 21st of the month then the bill calculated will be the month of 21 May - 21 June and 5 days from 16th may so bill will be generated in advance and this is also stated in jio fiber t&c point 9 . The Subscribers are provided with advance rental options in all of the plans with associated benefits and discounts.

@@OxypieGamerz I just checked today itself and I now by the meaning you are right but JIO charges the post-paid customers in advance as it provides free installation and free routers and I pay in advance for every month so you might have to cross check as I just had same conversation with the customer care today.
@@roshansuthar7166 While installation they charge advance but after 3-6 mon of advance recharge if you do not make advance payment in my jio app in fiber section then a bill will generate every month after use. And you have to pay. I m doing the same since a year

suppose you have 3 month of advance payment and took connection on 11sept .
11sept-10oct no payment needed
11oct - 10 nov no payment required but
11nov-10dec bill will generate on 10dec and you have to pay bill for 11dec to 10jan on dec 10 to continue your service for 11dec to 10jan. basically they charge you in advance but they will generate bill after 1 month .
