RRQ definitely was excited and nervous about the fact that they were 4 wins away from their first international title. I mean just look at R7 in game 1, he could've ended that match if he tower locked but he didn't-- he instead went for more kills. That epic comeback loss they suffered surely would've taken some of their mental fortitude, if R7 realized why they lost there's a possibility he had to play the rest of the games with that guilt in mind. Well all members did make mistakes throughout the series. Congrats and nice try to both teams 👌
i think PH teams are just more used to long games, maybe cos it's really common in MPL Ph with their safer/more objective playstyles. RRQ always loses in these long drawn out matches against BLCK, ONIC PH, and now against RSG PH.
I think he said that he did it out of habit, he's trying to buy space and time for skylar to hit the base not knowing that skylar is getting hunted down.

I wouldn't say that omega vs rsg is for grandfinals. For me, since bias pinas ako gusto ko pinas vs pinas pero d ren natin matatanggi na natalo ng rrq ang rsg ph sa upper bracket. Need to respect na den sa other countries and teams.

It was such snd amazing battle on this msc... also we should really apply more mentality on finishing and never giving up in a game because you might still have a chance on flipping it... rather than directly surrendering.... because why would you play if that's the case ...
What surprised me actually is that despite the multiple international competitions that RRQ had been a part of. They still crumble to pressure. They had the same line up for the longest time and yet they still sometimes lack communication and they panic. For me RRQ at this point is overrated.
They're experienced but never to be a winner so the pressure is massive in the other end rsg is new team so even if they lose people will not bashing them,

Aside from the PHause taunts from Indos, OMG has tons of fans saying OMG would've been better against RRQ and they would be shamed by Filipinos for losing despite being MPL PH champs, and losing the PH dominance internationally. They also don't have as many fans backing them up like BLCK and OMG

For me, parang kaya naman sana ni Clint(Skylar) na magtower lock sana kasi protektado naman sya ni Akai(Albert) at kaya nya ma poke yung tower dahil sa passive ni Clint. Pero kung plano nila magpitas muna bago magtower lock, mas ok yun kaso lang nagkamiscommunication sila kung sino target nila. On the other side naman, ang ganda ng defense ng RSG dahil di sila nag commit ng kill at naghintay lang sila ng oppurtunity para pumitas ng hero na nag aasim. GG RSG!

Kaya nahihirapan yung ibang jungle player kase assas player sila tapos tank meta na, yung galawan nila pang assas pa din kahit na tank yung gamit, dapat mas mag pokus sila sa team play kasi tank sila ang ginagawa nila madalas nag huhunt ng kill minsan solo pa kahit na tank sila di mawala sakanila yung pag sosolo hunt minsan kasi nakasanayan
Indo should learn more from this. A better mindset, better drafting and having a larger hero pool. They easily get choked out by other teams if they get a second chance to face them again. RRQ is a mechanically great team, with their preferred heroes. However, if those heroes get banned or contested their mental capacity and drafting takes a hit. Its either a snowball or a downwards spiral if they win or lose. A winning streak can truly improve a team's morale, and a losing one can kill their motivation. However, in these times they should prove that they can comeback whatever odds are against them, and not letting the hate and losses get to their minds. And the hero pool, Alberttt is a great assassin user, and although this meta is not for him, he proved to at least be consistent and good throughout the competitions. R7 is great, but that first game he choked real hard. He got too selfish and it backfired and his mental state took a hit. Skylar and Vyn are gods at their chosen heroes, Claude and Franco, but once RSG knew they were the keys to their success they immediately banned them each game and they struggled with other heroes. Vyn was struggling with his other picks. Skylar with other heroes was good enough, but not enough to outplay RSG.
A good performance by both teams, but this time Phil gets the crown once more. But at the same time, Indo can always learn and take M4 and the world by surprise. Got to watch out for Myanmar though.
