I loved him unconditionally💙 and gave him all I got. I was honest, loyal and I trusted him. I invested in him, built him up. He broke my heart 💔, he betrayed me and didn’t do right by me. I told him I forgave him and walked away.
He made his choice and went to his third party. On top of that he had the audacity to block me. He told his circle that he was the victim and I was the villain. But he was stalking me.
Months later, he regretted what he did and came back to me but still didn’t do right by me, didn’t even apologize, and acted as if all was fine and nothing ever happened.
He was emotionally immature and he didn’t take accountability for his actions. He had insecurities.
I wouldn’t compromise my integrity, and I couldn’t deal with his dishonesty, cheating, betraying, lying, secrecy and all of that. So, I walked away for good.😭
I know when he broke my heart, he broke his own heart, too.💔 He was as hurt as I was but would never admit it. The amount of hurt and pain he caused me was so much that fixing the connection would demand a lot of work and investment on his part and he didn’t have the courage to fix it. Besides, I didn't trust him anymore. Going back to his third parties was an easier option for him, even though he realized that we were a perfect match on a soul level.
I still have love for him and feel compassion towards him, I wish him no harm. But right now, I don’t think he was the one for me because if he was the right one, he wouldn't betray me for so long, he wouldn’t treat me that way.
But once upon a time, I loved him unconditionally and would do anything for him just to make him happy. It wasn’t meant to be. I’ve cut my losses and I’m moving on. I offered him unconditional love, he offered me lessons. And yet, I believe having loved and lost is better than not to have loved at all. This too shall pass.
