Favorite interview was with Andrew at 3D Gloop :D
Thanks for more of these.
Wish I could have made it to that one! I'll be at RMRRF though! And MRRF! Have a great time and keep showing us what's happening there!
Had to also say! That metal printed part that becomes fused with your bone is the absolute coolest!
Poor glue guy. Nero could have spent a little bit more time with him 😂
Something pretty cool going on with that metal printer. The lasers appear to be sintering powder while the wiper thing is laying down new powder.
Yeah exactly what I was thinking. It is interesting.
I love SLS (selective laser sintering) printing. I’ve had a bunch of Nylon 12 parts printed and the quality/strength/accuracy is impressive. One day I hope to get some SLS printed Aluminum…sorry, aluminium parts done. The key to SLS is batching parts. The more parts in the volume the more cost effective and efficient.
Blown away by what alloyed are doing.
We user a Renishaw at work for measurements.. damn thing is like a big Delta
you'll need a trim to become wolverine
I won't be printing anything untill i can find out why my X/Y endstop, PL-N08 probe, and fans arnt working... i'm at my wits end.
The jet pack system is dead in the water (air). The systems stability relies on each turbine working all the time. With no turbine redundancy it will kill people.
You clearly don't understand what they are designing these jetpack to do. They have no intention of these being owned by civilians for transportation. These are being made for military use. As the man was explaining these jetpack can allow soldiers to traverse terrains in ways that we have never been able to before. A spec ops soldier could cross a vast river in seconds and then leave the jetpack behind and continue his mission.
