    I am already have my Notary for the state of Oklahoma, I am really only interested in doing notarizing for elders and will not be charging them. I just want some practice and information on notarizing in general.

      So the answer if anyone wants to know is: I got mine through my Insurance Agent. They got me set up with my Bond and E&O Insurance. Got my Stamp through a local Company that my office uses to make all sorts of things like Employee name laments. Stamp was $30. Bond for the year was $30 E&O insurance for $50,000 Yearly coverage was $80.

    So I apply and pay $25 fee. So when I do a $1,000 bond how does that work? I give $1,000 ?

    • @nsablueprint
      @nsablueprint  Před 4 lety

      No that's not how it works. my bond is $7500 and costs $40 for 4 years where I live, so its very cheap. about 25 states need a bond, and its a small cost that protects consumers in case of negligence. It does not protect you at all. Thanks for your comment.
