A little frustrated about not being able to play Cyberpunk 2077 without it self-destructing, so I made a Cyberpunk book nook instead :D

this is incredible! even after watching all the making of videos, there's still details in this one that caught me by surprise. Would love to see what it looks like with the lights off in the room, lit only by the book nook itself, but as it is, super impressive!

Since making this little fellow I've gotten a new camera and new editing software. I'm hoping that my next project will therefore look a bit more sparkly. If so, then the one after that should really super test my macro and 'lights off' shooting ability (it's going to be all kinds of madness). If all goes well with these then I might make a quick, but jolly, revisit to the Cyberbook book nook to show it lit by just its own tiny lights 🌃

I´m speechless! Wow, thats by far the most impressive stunning awesome book nook I have ever seen! You are easily crashing channels with millions of subs - you should get them all too!
You got me on the first vid as an sub, and I will stay until the end! The fun thing is that I´m started my first book nook build a few days ago, nothing that fancy but with lights and sound!
I love your work, but I´m a bit on the old slow side so a longer and slower vid would serve me more - especially if you could do a parts list in the desciption, about the viberwire, the monitors and so on, but thats a minor point.

I'm a complete noob on building anything. any plans on releasing the schematics /items used to build this? It looks absolutely amazing and would love to try my hand at making one.
Alas, there were no schematics, only cardboard maquettes.
The best way to get started is to do some sketches, then grab yourself some cardboard and hot glue, figure out a few fun designs, pick one then refine it and recreate it in styrene. A few simple LED's will bring it to life, or you could try fibre optics and ARGB strips and screens with an Arduino / Adafruit. Most importantly, have fun! If you haven't already, then check out the other videos for tips 🎩
@@MogsWorkshop thanks for the tips, I will definitely try this soon. Idk if you're familiar with CyberDeck, but Im currently working on one and itll be my first time soldering. Hopefully that translates a little into this project!

Where did you get the led’s ? Did you make windows from clear plastic with window frames marked on?
The ARGB strips were just from Amazon, nothing special there.
Make sure to get the right voltage though. I prefer 3 pin: Ground/ 5V/ Data
As for the nano LED's, they came from here: www.smallscalelights.co.uk
The window frames were from an old model railway kit (literally a little plastic box full of various sizes of plastic window frame) 🙂
I then cut out pieces of the box they came in to make their 'glass'
I have a model railway and do a little midelling. Hoping to learn and do more.👍🖊📐

Canopy glue?

Where did you get the screen material?
When you say 'material' do you mean the pictures shown on the slides, or the hardware of the screens themselves?
For the slides/ graphics, these were from all over the place. Anything I thought was fun and fitting the scene 🙂 Note: all images used needed to be converted into a specific format, for which I used this online tool: online-converting.com/image/convert2bmp/
