This song was a condemnation of the Taiwanese succumbing to the will of Japan at the time of the Nazi regime. There were those who gave in, who sold out, who stayed silent and those who fought, but not enough of them fought to keep their country independent; "Let me stand up like a Taiwanese, only justice will bring you peace". It reminds me of that Valkyrie movie (iirc?) where they planned to kill Nazi leaders at a big extravagant party. I love Chthonic, I got to see them twice and it was awesome!

The reason for the Nazi symbol is because some of their songs is about Taiwanese history and how the island of Taiwan was taken over by Empire of Japan backed by the Nazi's in WWII.

Nah, it’s about KMT party’s partnership with Nazi, it’s called Sino-German cooperation.

@@zxc521137210 The Sino German Cooperation was created with the Weimar Republic. It was simply inherited and continued with Nazi Germany. China received help from all manner of countries in those days and the Sino German Cooperation was critical to helping China industrialise in the years before the 2nd Sino Japanese War. But I know you're not interested in that and only care about crying 'KMT EVIL' since the world is black and white.

@@Mark-kr5go Hm... I did read this before. Dude, calm down. You kinda overreacted. I didnt even say anything bad about KMT here, I just told him the name of this part of history.

@@zxc521137210 I apologize. I am not a supporter of the KMT or a fan of Chinese reunification, but I get annoyed when people focus only on one perspective and it's really common among chthonic fans.

If I may also make another suggestion check out Broken Jade by Chthonic. It's a really good music video and that too also has history of WWII.
