I've got another tip for ya to get even a little higher. Take a stick and lean it against the tree at the base. Put your first stick up even higher than normal. Loop the strap from the stick on the ground around the top step of your first stick. Stand on top step of stick on the ground to access 1st step of 1st stick. Pull up 2nd stick and continue to climb.
That versa aider from BMG is the real deal. If the bungee tension at the top is right, on the way climbing up, the loop will pop itself off the versa-button once you climb up on the first step of your stick. Real slick operation.
Love that system, looks very easy and you don';t have to fish around for the aider coming down. I find going up is always easier, especially when I'm not tired from the long day. Love your videos and thanks for the tips!!!
Get you some one inch flat nylon and a 6 or 8 inch threaded rod maybe 1/2” diameter put it inside the nylon center. Cut off enough to hang on a step above maybe 18” tie a water knot on the ends and make a few of these. Bundle up together and deploy with each step. Bury the arch/middle of your foot in it as you climb toe to tree you will get much higher for cheap. I use beast stick minis
Have you done a review on those compact sticks? I just scooped some up on FB market place. Just curious your thoughts on the single compact sticks. I have 4 with cable aiders.
I don't really see a problem with carrying 4x17" sticks with aiders. That's what I run with the 1.0 and have never wished I had fewer sticks! They are not that heavy!
@@thewhitetailexperience6055 I don't take camera gear other than a GoPro so I can see where you might want to reduce your weight. Thanks for the video. You do good work!
I think it's less about the weight and more about that it doesn't fit as well on your person (3 is easy--attach one on the ground, then put one on left hip, one right hip) and it adds another step to fiddle with so it slows you down too.
I think guys worry to much about getting to high in the tree. I'v had better luck from 10 to 14 foot with a tree with good coverage. Plus the shot angle is better
No way you can stretch that far with layers on lol. I lessened to just walk with four sticks. You can put the first two sticks on the tree and the last two on your side. Then start climbing to get above 20 ft

Just jump on the way down?

Yeah very impressed with it

I like that combo. I’ve used the aiders by themselves, but hadn’t thought about using the swaider in conjunction with the fixed aiders. Smart!
Yessir. Nice video again my brother
Thanks so much man
not having to fish with your foot for the aider on the way down is a huge plus
Yeah I thought so too

Can’t wait season is right around the corner!! I know you got to be getting excited too!
Good deal man I am jacked as well
very cool review and system
It’s a cool option
Thanks Jason
I really don't like to go too high up that's why I use a climber but I'm by having little guy I might go to a ladder stand and use the half
This aider bent my mini versa buttons. Just a FYI
Good to know - maybe I’ll keep it to the foot step

For sure man - got a video on what sticks to buy - some height test videos - plenty of mobile hunter videos - got a playlist too on here
@@thewhitetailexperience6055 I’ll check them out! Thanks

Yeah man I probably take 5 lbs in camera gear. Maybe I should just take a 4th idk.

That is true little easier up and down but it’s Deff a little work to use the move aider - couple ways to skin it
I think I’d rather carry and extra stick and have a comfortable climb. I just use an aider on the first.

I love that shot angle of a lower ambush spot
What sticks are these? The XOP ultra singles ?

Yeah maybe come rut I bring 4
Disadvantage of being 5’5 lol
Hhahahaa
