I’m going to pick one up in the next few days. I’ve watched a lot of your content and this full video. I’m a bigger guy 6 ft 1 and 260 lbs. it’s my first EUC. I’m pretty adept to learning things with wheels. So my question is.. v12 HT vs v12 HS. I want an easier model to learn on that I can keep after for my first wheel. Being a bigger guy though range is my priority. I need it for a 40-50km round trip. Or should I just go with something indestructible like the Shermax?

Hey chooch, as someone that’s has been doing research on the hobby for a while but can quite afford one yet I really appreciate videos like this. I like all your videos, your riding style is awesome and I really appreciate your honesty doing reviews and such.
Just a little bit on your videos… in my opinion it would be great if on videos like these you would create titled sections of the video. Not everyone has the time to watch a hour plus review and it also makes general video navigation easier.
Another thing I would appreciate from you is a tier list or even better a spreadsheet with individual ratings for each unicycle ie. 1-10 rating for build quality, speed, specs, ride level, distance, etc. then in spreadsheet form people could organize the list by the specs they are looking for to help make there decisions.
I also would personally appreciate a little more data from you when you talk about your rides. Distance, average speed, top speed stuff like that.
Sorry for the long comment just wanted to leave some feedback. Thanks for the great vids!

I've had a HORRIBLE experience with a seller in Canada, v12ht that caught fire with less than 25km on it. No replies from manufacturer or retailer* after a week. I will be choosing eWheels for my next purchase. (*Edited seller to retailer)

I'm enjoying my commander mini. I took it off roading yesterday and it was really well balanced in the jumps. Would recommend giving it a try if you get the chance

The eWheels Nikola+ at 1,451 wh was my first wheel. At least with the Litech p42a battery cells, you can ride hide for pretty much the entire battery at sustained speeds. With only 60 lbs in weight, it is nimble and doesn't take up much space wherever you go. For me, it was the perfect city commuter and I have no regrets buying it. Great water resistance. As a beginner, you could get 40-60 miles range, and then when you start riding hard it's probably more like 20-30 miles. But honestly, I would get tired before hitting 20+ miles usually because if you're riding hard it takes a fair amount of effort and focus. Either way, the Nikola+ still has a reputation of being a great wheel, reliable, and can handle some abuse. I have no regrets with that as my first wheel 1:11:00
But Chooch why are you underselling the EX30??
I have an EX30 and it’s nothing like you described it to be…
Pedals aren’t low, actually a good medium compared to the master. (Extremely rare pedal clip on track)
Even though V13 has a higher top speed, it’s not by much and EX30 WILL SMOKE any wheel in terms of torque.
Begode has improved safety features in updated firmware.
Wider rims for higher stability and corner speeds on Track.
More robust and reliable suspension.
Less weight and cheaper
Also 134v

Why do you think the EX30 dominated at AVS
He likes the Extreme Bull wheels in this video, didn’t actually say anything negative about any of them. I do think Extreme Bull is more successful copying Leaperkim than Begode is creating their own product market fit at times. Except the EX30, I think that wheel is one of the best. By lowering the pedals, you have lower center of gravity and more stability at speed. Especially seated riding.
I really miss riding. I was in a bad accident - had a cutout at 55mph, shredded my gear, & F-d myself up.

I took V10F . An excellent wheel, which has only 3 minuses: fairly flat pedals (I want to install pedals from V11.), the handle bar is wobbly, the center of gravity is high due to the location of the battery.

I share your excitement for the V14 Adventure. I can't wait to see how reality matches up with paper. On paper it looks like it's going to be absolutely amazing, and I'm pretty sure it will be my next wheel once I save up the cash. The funny thing is that my primary use case is commuting, but due to the amazing waterproofing and modular design for easy tire changes, I'm thinking this is probably the best commuter out there for me. The V11Y would be perfect, but the V11 is an absolute nightmare to do a tire change, so for that reason I would probably go with the V14 instead.
I know you wrote that 2 months ago. But here in january 2024 the scuttlebutt seems to be the v14 sux

Looking at getting into this. This video is helpful. Wondering when you'll have your next one up and if you could do a ranking (top 3 or 5 wheels) for beginner, intermediate, and advanced riders. I'm debating between a V11Y, V14, or Sherman-S for my first wheel. Others seem like they might be too much for me. Maybe those three choices are too. But I'd rather buy once than upgrade over and over. Glad I found your channel.
Don't know if you've bought your first wheel yet, but i have a regular v11 as my first wheel and i really love it, the top speed is really great but the higher speed on the v11y would be amazing. I get about 40 miles of range on it and i honestly recommend it. Though i think if you can spring for the sherman s that will be a better overall wheel for the long term, if you can deal with the extra weight
Well starting with the 16s, now riding the v12ht what would you recommend next? I have to throw my wheel in the car for basically every ride so weight is kind of a factor. I might miss my creature comforts the v12 has like the speaker and waterproofing and charger ports. I don't ride more than 30 miles at a time and I'm okay with the speed just really need suspension and want to hit some gaps and jumps.

Did the Begode T4 ever fix their burn down houses or cutout issues? I only own the INMotion V11. It's safe, lightweight, and reliable.

I own and ride a T4 and the extreme bull mini pro and all I want to say is if given the opportunity to redo my buying choices I would buy it again 2000%. Are they the best u can buy? Hell no but it is the most value for your hard earned cash 💰 2000%. And if chooch have ridden the newer version of the T4 and bull mini he would 2000% agree with me.😤👍💰

My S22 Pro has a 2.22 kW/hr battery @111V, giving 2220/111= 20A/Hr
The motor is a nominal power output is 3.3 kW , peak 7.5 kW.
ie.it can run at 3.3 kW for (2.22/ 3.3)=0.7 Hr or 42min. Or 0.7x70kms/hr= 40kms. (@nominal throttle), not 200kms as advertised in my manual.

I want to buy my first wheel, what wheel do you recommend me to get as a beginner? I kinda want to get an Inmotion V12 or a similar size EUC, but I don’t know if I should get a smaller one to learn first?
I’m new too but can’t decide between a scooter or euc so I’m gonna get both. Thing with the scooter is I know I can take it slow and not drop or damage it, but a euc…. I know I’m gonna fall at first. I’m think I’m still going to get the inmotion v13 and just ride in the grass slow for long awhile and get ready to just step off and grab it on top with both hands. Just do that and start really slow in the grass stepping on and off and turning until you are completely confident going on cement.
Inmotion v11 is not for off road because the battery case is too close to the ground which can crack if you hit a small rock.

Your review of the S18 is out-of-date. This unit is the Molicel version, which is night and day different from the OG with those damn LGs. Yes, it's still a 3p, so limited that way, but the P42a batteries can put out 45A per pack, so 135A total. My Sherman OG can put out 100A, so this is 35% better (specwise). Mind you, it's still a 84V wheel, and with the 900 Wh if you want a bit of range you better limit yourself to the lower 20s mph. Fast enough for bikepaths.
But... I've owned both versions and this one is a great wheel. Mostly for commuting, or for errands. It's just the ideal size to put in your car, behind one of the front seats. So convenient. And the Molicels make it safe, finally.
why has ewheels this wierd battery configuration on their products....t4 should have 1800wh...also extrem should be 2400wh...and chooch you really need to get the mini....still not that many reviews on it on YT
