He’s an example of an English man that was common in my dads day, honest hard working and simple pleasures over extravagance...I think he would hate to have a knighthood for embarrassment but I can’t think of anyone I’d rather have one👍🏻

First time I’ve heard about guy was through watching Isle of Man TT. So glad I’ve found out about him, humble man but extremely entertaining to watch
I mean, the first time I heard about him was with the Isle of Man TT, so yeah, it's understandable that one would remember him for bikes.

@@dietznutz1 no they are called processor's. A forwarder carries the logs out puts them on the landing for trucking pretty sure.

he didnt need to go to Siberia to see a tree-stripper in action. They have been in operation in Ireland for years. They are made in Finland.

Every programme i see about Russia the more impressed im am with people, their freindly,honest,kind,hard working and i would visit at the drop of at a hat. Palin , hairy bikers Simon Reeve etc said its one of the best places on earth

Same here my old man used find me after coming home from work taking something apart to find out how it works. I think the one that most annoyed him was the time I took the tv remote apart and he had to get up and down to change the channel for a week until he got a replacement.

@@MB-ib5ji Smog is not something we have in the UK now, it was bad years ago, but with various acts, such as The clean Air Act, it is illegal for factories and the like to pump out rubbish into the atmosphere. As for Vehicles, we have to have an annual safety check on all Vehicles, called an M.O.T inspection and one of the checks they do is to check that your exhaust emissions are within a certain level, if they do not meet the government standard, you can`t drive the vehicle until its been put right and your details automatically flag up on the Police computer 👍.
Fun fact, the Russian Cyrillic script on the TV that's supposed to say "our guy in Russia" reads: "Ftsr gtsu il rtsssid" which is of course nonsense
