I really think you are on to something with the black and white, just stunning. I make a fair amount of black and white pieces. You might experiment with a clear gloss over the black matte. That has worked for me. Great job Vaughan!
Hi Vaughan, l love the mat black with the oatmeal 😊 The Licorice is nice with the oatmeal on the rim, but I prefer the mat black, I suppose the mat black wouldn’t blend as well with the oatmeal ? But everybody has a different taste 😊

The dinner plate is 10 1/2 inches and the salad plate is 8 inches across.

Thank you Vaughan. You said your clay was recycled batch I’m using laguna bmix for everything! Should I try a different mix for dinner sets?
B-mix 5 does not do well at cone 6 and I have had plates crack if put in a microwave.
