The price is nuts
Can’t wait for these to come to Australia. The first thing the government will do is charge a rego fee, make you get a license and and insurance and then ban them in most water ways
I'd personally rather have everything maxed out on the battery to begin with, instead of paying $3000 to 20 minutes longer of runtime with the same battery that had that much energy storage to begin with.
I’m not in the market for something this expensive but the pricing model drives me nuts anyways. I can’t imagine this makes for happy customers. The battery even at the highest tier is pretty lacklustre. The default of 25 mins is not a complete product, especially with full speed probably bringing that down closer to 15 mins.
@@Hibbzzy Honestly Bypassing the BMS System with your own batteries would be the way to go and just use your own batteries. I Agree with the price situation. They actually had a half decent price of $5,800 a few years ago with older models for 25 minutes of runtime which gives you a half decent board for alot less money than what is on the market at the time. At this point, Id rather just build my own.
It actually lasts a while the 45 minute battery is perfect for me
So...seems like the "software upgrade" is just a way to bleed more money out of consumers.
$13000 australian dollars for one. Ridiculous. This shouldnt cost more than $3000 Aussie.
This this looks great, absolutely phenomenal!!! However the price is way too steep for average people. Again, however.... It would be cool if the battery had at least twice the range and was also a seat. Heck just make a miniature boat right? But I mean if it had multi use and allow you to ride it sitting like a kayak. It would allow for more than 25-45 minutes of use. Untill then, for the price, I'd rather not have a second look.
Multiple thousand dollars for a software update? That’s ridiculous I was actually excited for this product until I realized they bend you over and lay pipe for absolutely no reason

Great content, Have you tried E-wave, how does it compare in power and torque on waves with heavier rider with Raddin freeride. More power in Raddin board radical mode or more power on ewave?
It would be nice to be able to fit foot straps on all models too? Or is Explore absolutely not suitable for carving?

Can you tell the total weight incl. battery and motor drive ?
That must be very heavy when he went to pick it up could not lift it. Still very good looking powerful board look foreword to lighter boards in the near future

I don't remember exactly, but around 45kg. we discussed in the recent interview
How good is the turn radius? It seems the only way to enjoy this is at an ocean sized lake?
If you use foots straps you can even turn in a small river.

Does your body weight matter much on the ride time and top speed?
Yes, it does. Usually manufacturers release range and top speed for riders around 75 kg. That's said, I have 90 kg and felt with the Radinn boards that I am close to the top speed.

@@electric-surfboard - Thanks for the quick response! These new boards from Radinn are impressive. How does it handle debris like algae, floating sticks, and potential fish near the surface of the water?
I also have some ideas for accessories especially on the big model:
- Bungee straps in the back to secure things like a waterproof bag, which if filled with a bunch of towels could be used as a cushion for sitting
- Two sets of handles on each side of the board for riding while sitting. One set for a front passenger and a set for the rear passenger. The driver can still lean to turn, and even use the handles for stronger control. The passenger holds on to the handles and enjoys the ride =)
Also how heavy are these boards? The handles would also come in handy (pun intended) for carrying the board around.
@@EPSTomcat11 They dropped the weight from like 60 Lbs to like 33-43lbs, so more run time, power, and acceleration with less weight

35-55mins
I just tested one and it was 15 min of ride time on a standard battery.

"upgradable battery" AKA we sell you the same shit but lock it like an ISP... I really love these jet boards but the pricing is just so outrageous no one except stupid millionaire kids can afford these.. And unfortunately thats the market that works for them...
