Weight and portability is much better though, which may be better depending on the situation. Like if you need to quickly exfil out of a major metro area using a waterway after a catastrophic event.

It looks amazing to ride, price is quiet high but I understand the reasons behind it, still cannot afford this just for a hobby, maybe for business would be a good option for renting or something. The amount of space it takes in your car is nothing compared to taking a jet ski or something like that. The only problem I see is if you can only ride this over flat water, then ocean use will limit sales quiet a bit

@@alienleads of course you can ride in the ocean. I go jetsurfing in the ocean every week, you can see my videos
There are lots of rivers and lakes on the planet. I live in the driest area of the USA (Utah), and have no problem finding plenty of water to play on during all 4 seasons.

How much does that weigh? Can one person carry it? Does it fit in the trunk of car/hatchback with the seats folded down? Those griping on price must not have priced jet skis or have room to keep a trailer parked in their yard that can easily be stolen.

Now I am an old man and all these things I will never be able to do and enjoy. BE AWARE of how lucky you are, today to be young in a world that offers so many opportunities for fun and more.
When I was a boy, all this money, these trips, these cool toys didn't even exist in the imagination.
Also be aware THAT THIS LIFE you can do it also thanks to "the old" that you always criticize.

Hi Maxwell, the Standard battery has a ride time up to 30 minutes. But it all depends on various factors like how fast you are riding, water and wind conditions, rider’s style and physical weight.

Great invention but so over priced I expected around $5000 AUD which I would certainly consider, definitely not at 11000-16000 though

Hi Buzz, our boards start at 8,400 USD. We are constantly working on R&D to make our boards more accessible, both in terms of industrial design and in terms of pricepoint. As we want anyone to be able to enjoy the freedom of jetboarding. But that does sound like amazing locations for a vacation!

@@bambiexplores Yeah maxed out with the options is like 11k and thats not even including accessories..Not worth it especially with how much energy is required to recharge it, also counting how expensive new batteries are in 6 years of using it each season. I'd rather get a Jetsurf. 9,900 that does 30 MPH and runs for an hour and no batteries to eventually replace. I dont think electric boarding is there yet as far as the affordability market, but they are getting there. Electric boards werent even possible 12 years ago.

Great product but damn, that price point is out of touch for many more you could market this to. I'd buy one...then saw the prices, and would rather get a year old used wave runner and trailer. Bring those costs down...i'd buy one but not $6550 buy.
