The only American who won't acknowledge this Administration's failed economic policies is Joe Biden. "Shrink-flation' is the least of our worries compared to rising rents and stagnant wages, but it is an undeniable indicator of how bad our inflation has gotten. I have $100k that i like to invest in a non-retirement account, any advice on that?

I would avoid index funds, mutual funds, and specific stocks for the time being. Right now, the best option is a fixed income of five percent. Put money aside for the times when the market really starts to bounce back.

45% of Americans do not invest in the stock market because of lack of guidance. Every year you don't invest, you are falling behind. I’m hitting numbers in the stock market I used to dream of

When my grandmother was alive me and her had a conversation and she said something that I won’t forget. She told me “I may not have much time left on this earth and I’m grateful to see my children, grandchildren, great grandchildren healthy and happy. But I fear for your future. What the devil is doing now is going to test your faith in God” what is happening now is that test in my opinion. Smh sh*t is getting rough on everyone and I’m more frugal with my money now than ever before. That is sad, because not too long ago 103k a year was considered pretty cushy living if you played it right.. they’re destroying America.. everything we stand for and love. When i got married in 1963, you could buy a coke and a candy bar for 20 cents. Yesterday at Walmart those two items cost $4.20, that is inflation at my level, everything cost thirty to forty times what is cost in 1963. Same water and sugar, same plastic, same paper.
There is only one reason for inflation, government monetary policy. Spending money you don't have. Every dollar you spend and put on a credit card creates 30% increase in debt in the form of interest paid on the dollar you borrowed. You are paying for the money the government borrowed and the debt you run up on your credit card.

The trick of privately owned central banking: destroy the middle class by giving them bus tokens and Monopoly money to play with. We’ve had no silver in our change since the beginning of the 1965 mintage year. Aug. 15, 1971 Nixon took us off the gold standard and it’s been all downhill ever since. I learned a long time ago to live beneath my means because middle class always gets kicked in the teeth with taxes and inflation. If my family hadn’t seen this coming we would be in bad shape. Even with my husband’s illness five months ago, we have been able to pay our bills and manage. We have post Great Depression parents and learned those lessons from them. It’s not about how much money you make but how much you spend. Grow a garden, fix stuff when it breaks and learn how to maintain your simpler home repairs. Trade skills and be a good neighbor and you can get by. And quit the mindset of wanting everything you see or thinking you have to have it.

My costs keep escalating despite doing fixing jobs myself, never hiring contractors for anything, living as empty nester, and no wasteful spending on vacations or dining out. WHY? Food, energy, healthcare insurance, home insurance, price creep on everything, municipal taxes, and adult children needing some help to avoid bancruptcy raising a family and unable to avoid debt. For example, $5000 for a three year olds broken leg. Unexpected cost that insurance would not cover. That's Bidenomics at work for the middle class.

It’s one of the most moronic things to do is not reopen up all of Americas natural gas and oil industry again immediately ! We should be drilling for natural gas and oil unlike at any other time in our nation’s history , if for nothing else than to help pay down our national debt. I keep trying to warn my friend’s family and loved ones about what’s coming but it’s like they don’t want to hear it. I know what’s coming but here’s the absolute most terrifying part, there’s absolutely no way possible for anyone to prepare for it because very soon will start seeing the BRICS nations devaluing the US dollar making it of no value and worth nothing. Then there’s the fact that all of our three greatest enemies around the world are watching the total weakness coming out of the White House and the US military. We’re really starting to see these countries probe and test our defenses and are definitely watching what’s going on in the Middle East and how we operate function and what our response times are. But the American people will soon see mass natural gas, oil and food shortages. They’re going to start seeing our banks closing and our stock market crash and I truly believe that we’re going to see all of these things start happening before our presidential election.
