20 years ago I had an African fat tail named Liz. She was my only friend in the 6th-7th grade because I was bullied badly. She ended up passing away during that time. I cried so much over her. Fast forward to 3 years ago, I got a African fat tail named Liz, after her legend of an ancestor. My wife and I love her to bits, and she has a bio active enclosure next to my chair in the living room. She loves to watch tv and see everything that’s going on. She never bites either. Still have her today, and she’s well!

I love african fat tailed geckos. So underrated and very adorable.
And I've been diagnosed with tourette's syndrome and reptiles really give me that sense of comfort and joy whenever I hold one of my babies or my sister's babies I feel very calm and no reptiles are harmed in my tourette's I don't harm them

Leopard geckos are not my type of lizard but oddly enough I love Fat tailed geckos!
I think they are much cuter and habe a nicer temperament than leopard geckos. My leo was very nervous about sounds and she wasn't very still when I handled her.
Last week I bought my first fat tail and she doesn't seem to be bothered by much. The just walks slowly into her hide if I'm watching her or if I vacuum and she feels disturbed by that.
My leo freaked out the first time I started my vacuum.
Happy you included Osha! She was precious. Oberyn is one of my 2 faves with Merlin. Obella is so gentle when taking food off the tongs. 💙🌻

AFTS are adorable and so sweet.
I love them all. Mine is named Mocha. She's so adorable with those big brown eyes. Mine likes to just sleep in her warm house. Its like she's doesn't like our Canadian winter. Hopefully she gets more active in spring.

Just got my first AFT she is a Caramel Zulu and her name is Rhaenyra. Like you I am also a GOT fan. I am loving House of the Drago so she is named after her.
I always love when your new videos come out, every single CZcams or has a different approach and what makes them good is there a different approach and how they feel about the animals that they are interested to keep. Your approach is 100% heart and that is hard to find. I am fairly new to the reptile hobby I was adopted by a red bearded dragon at Christmas time who is named Koa. I have since gone on to pick up two more brown annuals and one green I know who all live together in a modified vertical 10 gallon tank. They are a lot of fun to watch Hunt and play with each other but they are all juveniles at this point. Thank you so much for every content that you put out I have enjoyed watching you from the first day that I found you stay healthy, stay happy, and keep giving us wonderful content.

My aft is called Picasso and he’s an adorable little asshole. He goes through phases of eating anything you put in front of him to then being picky as hell and refusing everything you try for weeks until randomly going with the first thing you offered him initially🙄 He’s a pain sometimes but I wouldn’t have him any other way💗 Still whatever he does refuse my greedy leopard gecko Bandit is more than happy to eat whatever he didn’t to the point when I take out his food dish if I left it in overnight she’s already come out of her hide looking for his leftovers 😂
AFTs are so fantastic, I got my girl, Maurice, over 9 years ago, I wanted a male and she was sold to me as one but turns out she's a girl 🙃 egg binding scares the life out of me which is why I try to stick with male lizards, theyre so uncommon here otherwise I'd have more. So underrated!
We have about 14 reptiles well 13 we lost one my sister's little new baby passed away a week ago I have two leopard geckos and a blue tongue skink and all the rest of the reptiles are snakes and they're my sisters and most of them are hog noses

What are your thoughts on live plants with African fat tailed geckos? Have you found any do particularly well (or not well)? Not sure if I missed that in the video :3 I’m hoping to do a bioactive setup for a future fat tail someday
I struggle with live plants BUT AFTs geckos do great with live plants bc they don’t eat or trample them

How do you get your lizards to eat off the tongs. Mine won't be will run away from it. I have a leopard gecho.
Can you help, my leopard gecko recently lost his eye and I can't find any prescative free saline solution, I'm worried as I don't want his lost eye to become inflected
