- A video has now gone viral on social media, after a family documented their encounter with a Nashville International Airport Police Officer Sunday night, threatening to arrest a group of passengers waiting to find final details about their Southwest Airlines flight.
Good Job Nashville, way to promote your city as a destination to avoid.
This is why people don't like or trust police.
Shameful.
Let's stand up for these people and never fly Southwest EVER again.
Yeah, Southwest is the drizzling sh*ts. Their competitors had nowhere near the number of cancellations that they did.
These agents should be fired as well as the cop and they should sue Southwest
He pulled up on the wrong Black Woman with his racist bullshit.
Cop was going to do what the company said, not protect the people.
Pigs will be pigs. DEFUND - DEFUND - DEFUND ...and then throw the PIG IN JAIL!!!
You are not entitled to compensation for cancelled flights if you leave the airport under the new passenger rights law. Therefore, they force you to leave so you don't get 3x or 4x your one-way ticket cost in compensation.
BNA's top brass sent in the "jack-booted thugs with guns" to deal with "unarmed passengers" who had a right to be inside of the airport. The cop in this video deserves to be fired. He is probably in a police union that will delay and/or prevent his termination. If this "badge-heavy" human rights abuser, is fired, then he will probably end up working for another police department.
Cops probably got a promotion or commendation
Do we know whether or not the Southwest employee who called the police actually had the company's authority to trespass people off its property or request police to do the same? And was "the line" actually Southwest's property or the airport's property?
The bigger issue to me, is that some ignorant cop was telling people with cancelled flights that their tickets were no longer valid, and he used that "incorrect information" to justify forcing valid ticket holders out of a secure area where they were entitled to be. I'm sure that "whoever" summoned this stupid cop to the scene was equally as ignorant of the passengers right to be where they were going to go.

@@megamouthspike1930billion dollar corporation using the state to not pay customers after they fuck up a classic if you will
Will action be taken against the cop. He really wasn’t professional.
That's an understatement. He was not serving citizens who paid a company for a service, i.e. a contract, but that company (Southwest Airlines) did not deliver, and so called the cops to arrest the ones who had their money stolen.
Is this China or Nashville dictatorship and disrespectful way to deal with paying customers.
Has the officer been fired yet. YES OR NO?
Why didn't the staff speak up?
Very telling. Seemed the airline knew they were at fault and were trying to horde people out
🤔 The comments here are a bit .. um .. unexpected. I've watched the coverage from other television news stations that are located outside of Nashville. Comments I read under their CZcams reports are very, very different in opinion and tone than the ones here. Very interesting 🤔.
im sure southwest has employed bots to try and sway public opinion. Its actually very common these days.
I'm trying to sort through all of that, myself. It seems you get one end of hostility or the other - you either get pro-cop or anti-cop. I think there is more to the story than what is shown, especially regarding airport security. That said, there were WAY too many inconvenienced SWA customers and SWA should be harshly punished (maybe even put out of business). Thanks, lady.
What's going on with Southwest this holiday season ?? Lawsuits coming.
Southwest Airlines is definitely responsible for the lion's share of this incident. However, BNA's airport authorities and their jack-booted thug police, also share in the blame. Multiple parties deserve to be sued for this calamity at the Nashville airport.
@@megamouthspike1930 i agree. I'm from Nashville and it's not every day that a storm causes our airport authorities to try to pull rank like this, thank god they had phones out.

Acab 😂
They did break a law: black while trying to fly. Shame on them.
Bwahahahahaha! Tell us you a a R a c ! s t without telling us you are a R a c ! s t!!
It's totally preposterous to threaten passengers with arrest, when they have a "right to be inside of the the secure areas of the airport." These particular passengers stepped outside of the secure area, because they were tired of waiting inside of the terminal they arrived in. They had no idea that the airport's "jack-booted thugs" with badges & guns, would intercept them when they tried to re-enter the secured area, and threaten to arrest them. This a massive failure in the operation of an airport. The heads of BNA deserve to be sued for this.
@@megamouthspike1930 Bwahahahahahaha!! I hope that was a joke!! 🤣😂🤣
@@mymaryland9547 There's nothing funny about crooked cops who abuse their authority.

Welcome to the police state of the USA and compliments from Pete Buttigieg.
He can't be bothered by the common folk, he has other things to do. And don't forget who hired ol' Pete.
Find where this pig sleeps at night !
Pete Buttigieg has nothing to do with this fiasco. Southwest leadership failed on this one.
@Lovevideos16 pete buttigieg is a clown 🤡 and he was like "vote for me because I'm a GAY f*gg0t"- "I have no experience or qualifications BUT I love C0CK so vote for me "

When u spend cheap sometimes u spend twice
How are they sleeping and changing clothes with no luggage??
Who cares!!
Many are paying out of pocket for accommodations and sundries. It’s totally broken right now.
You can change clothes in any airport restroom stall. There are restrooms in both the secure and less-secure areas of most airports.

@@AndreAnyone and then what, 🧁???
I’m surprised the officer didn’t forcibly drag them out of the airport
Why would they do that?
I'm surprised that the cops didn't handcuff them and "kneel on their necks".
I'm waiting for the other videos that might show these folks being enraged shouting, threatening the staff ect. Time WILL tell all.
racist
These people didn't seem to be shouting at all.
I don’t understand. Their flight was cancelled. You have to leave the terminal when this happens. If you want to rebook in person you have to go to the ticket counter. This is standard. Why didn’t they just leave the TSA area and get help at the ticket counter?
Bro, did you even watch the video, or did you just comment without actually watching?
You can rebook inside with a gate agent genius.
It was NOT cancelled yet, the cop lied, like they always do.
