Been in this game for over 30 years. You should stay with Yamaha. The price is insane for those white KTM'S. The reliability is just not there on them. Especially if your on a fixed budget.

I have a tip for you don’t run the bel ray it kills bottom ends run blud lubricants , or amsoil dominator at whatever ratio you already mix both oils burn very clean and top ends last

Tip for Luke he needs to move more on the seat of the bike it looks like he just stays in one place move up on the turns and back on the long start straights
You get more traction up the front of the bike pushing through your pegs

Holy Crap man !! Setup and Freight fee is not that expensive. FYI for the next bikes you get you can ask for them still in the crate (dirtbikes don't have a full warranty so you can do this) . It will save you a ton of money but you will have to assemble it yourself. I personally prefer that because some techs don't have a clue about bikes or are really lazy and still set them up. I have a video on my channel going through the entire setup process if you wanted to know more.

last month I bought a 2021 Husqvarna 85 and yes they do charge 1000$ for freight and setup mainly because they get shipped from Austria. MSRP for my 85 is 6100 and at the end with tax and freight it ended up at 7500$! and yes I know that extra $1000 seems like a ripoff but even before the shortage of bike there was still that fee. Hope he likes the new 65!love your vids
Also you guys need to clear out the bike before the take off so hold it wide open with clutch in or in neutral until you hear it clean out and run crisp

I use to have a ktm but it was a pain in the ass parts wise to upgrade so expensive made the switch from 2015 125 sx to 2001 cr250 love it but need to get my parts on it!!

As far as credit goes. My Wife always made real good money and she’d buy stuff on a credit card for 4 or 5 grand and pay it in full when the bill came a month later.
I on the other hand would put smaller 75-100 dollar items on my card and make minimum payments every month and wouldn’t ya know it..... my credit score was higher than hers and man did it make her mad. Turns out, the credit companies like someone like me much better because they make a lot more money off a guy like me.

I've been told one of the best ways to improve your credit score is to keep a balance on your credit card, about half your credit limit, while paying more than the minimums. So you pay a bunch off, then spend more on it... Which with credit card interest rates seems a really expensive way to go about it. Like you, I prefer not to take credit on things, I'd rather pay them outright, but for the sake of credit score, once every couple years I'll put something on a payment plan. It seems to work.
Looking forward to see how Mason gets on with the Husky, been missing the old Maniac Mason on the track!
