@@guitarhustlerdan yeah I haven’t played one but I’ve seen a few clips of the Epiphone DG and they seem like they are really close to the Gibson version even all the electronics and sound really good to me.
Ive got a gold one of these and theyre not even worth playing without a GOOD setup 😂 looks like there are some duds.. strings were breaking within 2 days, nut was loose, wouldnt stay in tune for shit 😂 I've learned chibson are better with solid bodies.. they've got a way to go with the hollows
@@philkasafir. A good setup usually fixes them. But that also sometimes includes leveling, crowning and polishing the frets, which is a pain. Some decent import pickups helps also.
@guitarhustlerdan oh I agree. I had a les paul "suprome" once 😂 for 300 quid it was very impressive! With some TLC chibsons can be awesome, I'm in a foo fighters tribute band and we use good replicas 😎 but the one 335 was just all over the place haha. Strings weren't even resting in the nut properly, barely sitting on the gaps 😂 top E kept getting stuck under a fret, action higher than tommy chong... I'm getting it back soon, can't wait to see what they've done with it!
@@philkasafir. I forgot to mention nut filing. The nut slots are sometimes way off and sometimes, but rarely, they are good. I just can't beat up a $2500 guitar, but I don't care if I'm only in it for $300. There will always be a market for them and a good use.
“Pickups sound a little farty?”🤣
I invented a new word on the fly! 😀💸
I would just get the Epiphone version and not waste my money on the chibson from what I’ve seen the Epiphone seems pretty good.
Epiphone's quality control has gotten way better overseas. I played the Epi version about a month ago. It's way better than the Chibson.

@@adriannott4596 the Epiphone version is still a little pricey.😱
@@guitarhustlerdan yeah especially here in Australia it’s around $2700.

I've got another confession to make.........
😂🤣
Farty? ....😂😂 Genius ...
Yes Farty. I am copywriting "farty" brand pickups...
Like I said, you are a genius... 😊
I love the color. It does sound fatty. 😂 Only my brother would call a sound farty. 😂😂🩵
Kinda sounds farty...😂🤣🤣🤣🤣😱
