This reminds me the old full flight on old pmdg 737NG, when i was just learning b737. Great nostalgia from you!🔝🔝🔝
Hi, i have huge request...
If you can share your sim settings🙏
This channel is literally my best way to learn how to fly on Vatsim before doing my first flight, lots of tutorials flights, even VFR,thanks!
Thanks!
Dude! So good to have you back with a full flight.
Thanks!
@@AviationPro please do more videos on the 737!
Hey bro are you a pilot now? Airline pilot?
I just did my first vatsim flight yesterday (and my second one today ^^), after pondering it for months while watching your tutorials, and I just now noticed you are back on youtube so I want to say thank you so much, its in big part because of you that I managed to get around somewhat !
Glad to hear that, thanks for watching! :)
Even though you may have been silent for a while, you are still inspiring some people like me. I'm planning to have my first VATSIM flight very soon! Looking forward for more videos like this!
Thank you! Good luck on your first flight! :)

😃
Hello! You have been a great inspiration and guider for me to start in VATSIM, thank you VERY much
Another really helpful video. I realized that I needed to revisit hold procedures. Back to the video on holds you posted a few years ago.
Thank you! Haha, hope that one will help too!
Love your tutorials!! So nice and clear.
What checklist SOP are you using?
Thanks! Made it myself, based on the Boeing 737 normal checklist
@@AviationPro any chance for a pdf copy
Nice video! The sim looks great! I also flew to Zurich that day as SAS841 from Oslo. I arrived about 40 min later though but it was my best VATSIM flight because of how lively it was :D
Thanks! Yeah it was an amazing dynamic, with good controllers
amazing video, great for you to be back!
Thank you, Xavier!
heeey its nice to see you back and its so amazing how they did this simulator
Thanks! It sure is!
Nice to see you flying again :))
Thank you Adam ;)
i've been watching your vatsim videos for 7 years now and your videos have helped me very much. Will you be doing more videos in msfs?
Glad to hear that! Probably yeah :)
Great video, thanks for sharing it with üs 🖐️
You’re welcome!
Thank you so, so much for all your tutorials and this flight for example, I just did my first ever flight on the network (from Amsterdam to Hamburg) and it was amazing! It wasn't my best flight ever or the best communication with the ATC but we aren't gonna talk about that lol.
Thank you again for all the video's, it really helped a lot! Bedankt :))
You are very welcome! Thanks for watching this flight 😉
Pleasant flight, cute pilot. Would recommend 10/10.
Thanks mate!
Spotted myself on the busy frequency in ZRH.
Nice video👍🏼
Awesome! Thanks for watching ;)
Awesome video!
Thanks!
Great flight and video!
Thank you!
Long time. Really missed your videos.
Nice one. Great to see you back! Keep em coming! ~Rm😀
Thanks and wilco!
Great Job!
Thanks!
So glad to see you back flying and bonus to Switzerland ! Welcome to our lovely country 😁! Funny to hear the voices of some Swiss ATC friends in your video haha. I flew also the same day from Zurich to Helsinki as Finnair. Was secretly hoping to hear my voice in your video ahah.....sadly it didn't happen. Don't know if I was already gone. Looks like you're enjoying the PMDG 737 for MSFS. It is a great plane. Still prefer flying Airbus though (Long Live the Fenix team haha). Take care ! Cheers !
Hahaha, thanks for watching! Gonna have to try the dark side sometime yeah
Can’t wait going to Zimbabwean on Saturday
Miss u
Welcome back
Thank you Tony!
PLSSS PLSSS PLSSSS DO MORE OF THESE, YOUR ARE VERY GOOD!
Like riding a bike mate. Really really well done buddy. That was some really impressive comms. I look forward to your next video. 😊✈🛩
Haha, thank you Chris!
@@AviationPro You're more than welcome. Its the least I can say over what you have taught me the last decade. 👍✈
Great flight. I'm learning so much from your videos. Please keep posting 🔥🔥
Thank you!
@@AviationPro Just Asking, Do you have a new channel because you haven't uploaded in 6 months?
@@sydney0016 Negative, was busy with real life flight training which has just finished :D
@@AviationPro Oh That's good, hope you can persue your dream of flying as I want to lol
finally another full flight!!!
:D
Thank you!!!
You're welcome!
These busy approaches in the night are so nice to watch. 3 planes in line on final approach with a 4th one turning in while you are shoving it in behind him.
And then Tower had to break off read-back of that other plane to quickly give you last minute clearance to land. xD
I agree, it was amazing! :) Thanks for watching
Leuke video man! 😉
Thanks!
Awesome video. It would be interesting if you could do more flight of this kind.
Thank you! Hope to do more in the near future 😉
Welcome back sir! Would love to see you at EHAM more as I might be a controller there soon! Do you have a discord that you maybe organize flights in? Would love to do a group flight with you!
Thanks! No I don't do that unfortunately ;)
Very good 👍👍👍
Thank you! :)
Excellent video i like your detailed efforts extremely excellent to watch you need to do a b777 air nz flight in vatsim would love that
this game is brilliant
Like the new yoke!
Yeah it works a lot better than all that plastic Saitek stuff! :P
@@AviationPro I also recently got the alpha, as well as the bravo. It's a fantastic throttle quadrant for the price of you ever want to upgrade.
Thanks
Thanks for watching!
It was nice to see that even you the pro pilot/controller made some errors such as not waiting for the atc controller and not being prepared with current taxi charts. I’m only a few months into learning the sim no where near vatsim ready but it seems every time I take a flight I mess up some thing. This gives me hope .
Oh definitely. Also flying the sim is a lot different from real life and I don't always have the time to fully prepare let alone record everything perfectly. Rest assured, mistakes are made, even in real life. You can learn from them and over time will become a great VATSIM pilot! Good luck ;)
This looks really weird, your setup and these insane graphics... Keep up the good work, looking forward to seeing more!
Which scenery are you using?
Will do! All can be found in the description 😉
Great video mate, I would love to see yourself simming with a bigger monitor
Thanks! Haha yeah I think that is one of the next investments
Heard myself on the freq. at 26:26. Nice
Awesome!
Good to see you back! How is the flight training going? Jobs should be easy to get these days! All the best. Henri.
Thank you! Going well, now busy with getting my multi crew course and type rating. Should be done by the end of this year :)
@@AviationPro Congratulations! All the best. How much of an advantage was all of your simming prior to flight training? Henri
@@henrivanbemmel Thanks Henri! It definitely helps a lot, phraseology with ATC communications is very easy having flown on VATSIM. Knowing the Boeing 737 systems and procedures helps a lot. Have to adjust now to the multi-crew sphere of course, but it's great fun. I deliberately didn't practice failures in flight sim, that's something you really wanna leave till you join the airline so you don't mess up and reverse back into procedures that you may have (incorrectly) taught yourself some day.
So you´re still alive ?! Welcome back !
Yes! Thank you!
Goed je weer terug te zien. Welkom online weer.
thanks for this! Can you review the fenix? I am not bluffing but u will be blown away with the airbus for simulation related stuff compared to what PMDG is offering, best airbus and also not as expensive as the aerosoft shockingly
You're welcome! Yeah I know about it, looks really good. Unfortunately don't have time for it though because of real world flying ;)
@@AviationPro ok no worries! Your still the best! ❤️❤️❤️
Hello! Can I ask, where did you get your 737 checklist. Thanks!
This is a good job.Came from China
Thanks for watching!
Leuk dat je er weer bent Evert. Hoop weer veel mooie stream te mogen zien. Hoe is het met jouw vliegers opleiding.?
Dankjewel Vincent! Gaat goed, nu in de Multi Engine - Instrument Rating fase, dus bijna klaar 😉
I miss this guys regular flight sim uploads
When done with flight training end of this year you can expect more 😉
Great videos, can you pop over the video on setting up your camera? Thanks
Thanks! I guess you mean this one: czcams.com/video/DYs3H3X6z24/video.html
I'm still using FS2004... I'm planning to buy the iFly 737. We've come a long way as far as flight sim softwares and addons.
My God I saw you uploaded a video and I said no way I have to watch it. I have to say that I saw all your videos when I wanted to start on VATSIM and also Cross the pond events. You are missed among the community
Thank you Andres! Hope the videos helped 😉
@@AviationPro thank you captain. It helped a lot !!!!!! Greetings from Colombia
Hey, nice to see you back simming :)
I slammed some feedback that you could benefit from, especially if you do real flight school training.
Big things:
• Initial takeoff - Pitched up way too much. The yellow horizontal band on the attitude indicator is called “Pitch limit indicator” Reaching this one will activate the stick shaker. You were just a small wind gust away from activating that. Pitch to 15 degrees is pretty normal until acceleration altitude (1000 ft AGL) - which was not set for departure. Then follow Fd’s.
• In the hold you did an altitude bust leaving Fl.100. Even if AP is selected it is important to monitor your pfd. Your focus should always be centered around “Aviate”. Then you briefly fix other things but always go back to monitoring what the airplane is doing. Similar things like this can happen in real life, it isn’t just MSFS bugs.
• When you got a speed change to 250 kts in the descent, you didn’t account for the altitude restriction at Fl.180 which you would not have made. ATC saved you with “min 1500 ft/p” before busting that restriction. LVL change and Vnav speed uses pitch to control descent speed which will make you go above the profile.
Minor things:
• Only fwd left fuel pump or left cntr tank may be on during APU ops with engines off. Pumps go on before eng start
• Let APU run for minimum 1 min after selecting APU bleed air to off before shutting the APU down.
• Only select VNAV when you have flaps up. Vnav doesn’t account for flaps drag.
• Check pressurization on the way up and down. You are simulating a pax flight, so pax sign should also be considered.
• In briefings - Include “How you will fly it”. What modes are you using during approach and missed app? LNAV/Heading/VorLOC. When do you configure? What altitude should you be fully configured. When should you be stable on the speed etc?
• On vectors for approach - extend the centerline from faf or cf. Google/youtube how to do it. Makes better situational awareness and enables you to use Lnav on the missed app.
• Try to not wiggle the yoke right and left too much, there is no need, only induces oscillations. A lot of real pilots also do this way too much.
• Upon shutting down the engine - pax sign and anti collision lights to - "Off" are a priority. Everything else comes second.
I understand this is single pilot ops in multi pilot aircraft but trying to improve this will just improve your skill and mental capacity when you do find yourself in an airline soon.
Take care!
As always, thanks for the feedback! It's indeed difficult to do everything perfectly in this setting, even more so without a full 3D home cockpit and because I'm barely flying MSFS due to real life training (hence the disclaimer in the description too), but I'm looking forward to using and applying more and more real life knowledge in the future! Although... flying the 737 probably won't happen in my case ;)
Although I would love to implement procedures like the ones listed in your list of minor things, I kind of purposely refrain myself of getting used too much to a certain set of procedures because it can be hard to 'unlearn' them when having to train using procedures used by the airline I aim to fly for. Especially considering the multicrew concept, where I don't want to mix up single pilot flying routines I used in MSFS.
Regarding the big things, haha yes, absolutely right. I hope to get more 737 time in MSFS after flight training to iron things out!
@@AviationPro No worries. The minor points that are applicable to your flight training now and/or any airline on any plane are;
- The pressurization check on the climb
- Briefing the "how to"
- Yoke wiggling
Keep it up!
Part of the stuff you mentioned is company specific. Pitch up on takeoff is following the FD until max 20 degrees. We arm vnav before pushback, and thus we surely do use it when we have flaps down, both going up and down in flight. Also, upon shutdown pax signs are not priority. monitoring your engines is, followed by the a-c light. We usually turn off the engines, have pilot flying monitor the engine display, and the pilot monitoring do part of the shutdown flow after which he waits for the sign given by pilot flying, verifies it and turns off the a-c light. Only after the cabin crew actually disarms the slides, and we finish part of our flow do we turn off the pax signs when we consider it safe to do so. A lot of stuff you mentioned really should not be stressed in a flight sim environment like this one, and I also highly doubt this represents any real life flying behavior. In the end regardless of training, company, or any other guidelines, every single pilot has their own way of doing things. What I described above is what I've been taught and currently observe in the cockpit.
I was also flying to Zürich and heard myself many times in your video, DLH1LH!:) your vatsim tutorials have helped me a lot when I first started flying on vatsim, bedankt!
Very cool!
More full flights please! How about some long hauls?
Haha, not much time for long hauls, but another full flight for sure!
Do you have a link for the checklist? Can I download it som where? Thanks
damn, i miss this dude. so much dedication.
Still here! ;)
PLEASE DO MORE
Hi mate please may you share the checklist you use for this aircraft?
hey aviationpro, im a huge fan but i have a question, Whats the best starter airliner for me to go with so i can learn all the instruments and stuff like what i need to start an airliner with etc like the battery first then we need fuel pumps and stuff, whats the best? For p3d any version, payware or freeware, i remember watching one of your videos and you started with the level D 767
The PMDG 737 NGXU would be a good choice. Once you get the hang of the 737 you will be able to transition to the other Boeings pretty easily ;)
@@AviationPro thank you so much :DD, my aviation idol, also how would you advise someone new into the airline industry to learn how to start the plane up, like, is there a format like, electrical then fuel etc? or am i better off watching tutorials
1:26:15 Zurich Final : KLM71Queeeeeebeec ;D
😃
That was one late landing clearance :O
Common on VATSIM with these busy events 😅
Hi Nice to see u back. Can u give me the app that u use to change frequencies. Thank u
Thanks! It's RemoteFlight COMM
I wanted to give this video a like, but the current number of likes for it is "747" so I didn't want to mess that up!!! 😜
Will you make a review about the new X-Plane 12 FlyTampa Schiphol scenery?
I don’t use X-Plane so unfortunately not 😉
We want another flight PLZ Man
Seems like you have FSDT scenery conflicted with the default LSZH because of the double taxiway markings. Earlier this year MS included LSZH from gaya simulation (which was supposed to be payware) in the base package.
Yeah correct, forgot to do that…
how can you see other planes in your nav?
Leuk , hoorde mijzelf op de radio toen je begon met taxieën op Schiphol . KLM508 . EDDF en EGLL zijn meestal ook lekker druk . Gebruik je geen Navigraph charts ?
Cool! Jazeker, ook te zien in de video 😉
Great video, just wondering, were are the charts map from? Is it free?
Best regards
Thanks! It’s from Navigraph, paid subscription
@@AviationPro The checklist you´re using, is it something you could share or were did you get it?
What is the radio panel you use??
Are you going to do a tutorial series on the PMG 737 in MSF 2020?
Not much time for that I'm afraid...
Wow! And I was wondering what happened to you haha! Hope you're doing well!
Still here ;)
@@AviationPro I'm glad :)
Are you going to do an "aviation pro" long haul when the 777 comes out?
Maybe, but not extremely long haha
