its a great survival building game. its just not a great Space game. Space in SE is all static. Speed is locked at 100m/s. Planets and Distances between them are comical small. There is nothing really worth to explore that you cant already find on and around your starting Planet... This Game had so much potential for more but as it is now its just a tiny Toy Universe. Looking into Starship EVO!
Also is a game that is pretty much abandoned by the developers and that have big ass problems that they haven't solved in 10+ years and that by "NPCs" you mean some wolves in temperate planets and some bugs in the alien planet. Is a fun game overall but don't get into the game expecting some progress or the problems that it have beign fixed. lots of DLC's tought...
Don't you bring up that name. They'll hear you. First time I ever installed a mod pack it had reavers in it and I didn't know.... my whole fleet was gone cause I had no sheilds
Just got the game super buggy but being able to build at all is good I can’t build or anything with friends it’s bad but if I’m in creative it let’s me build and before someone says did you have the right stuff to build yess I even put on dev mode to spawn stuff in and that’s the only way we could get anything in a flat world the game just says to many items ? Idk I thought this game would be like scrap mechanics but from what I am seeing now it’s a frustration simulator but all I gotta say is after haveing to build a vehicle 7 times in a row from one hill from scratch over and over just kills the vibe this game was not made for console 😂
This oversells SE, it is essentially a huge physics sandbox, ripe for something like a big discord community to mod to their liking, and host huge scale multiplayer events in, but past just screwing around and enjoying the massively complex block based ship building system, there is pretty much nothing to do in Single Player Survival once you've actually built a large grid ship. Mods help this to an extent, but it is not enough, once you've done it all, you've done it all and there will be nothing new to do, there's just no real replay-ability to things. The most fun I had with it was still when me and a friend first got the game and learned how to play it, having all of our first experiences with all the game has to offer together was very enjoyable, and if you could get a group of like 6 people together to play it, you're gonna have fun, but only for like a month until you've done it all.
There is one problem. You say that we can find new resources on different planets but this is incorrect as all planets have the same resources. The only things that have different resources are asteroids.

Want to experience massive lag on your 4 thousand dollar gaming pc ? build anything with a piston and watch your GPU roast itself! Almost 10 years... 10 YEARS AND THERE IS EXACTLY THE SAME CONTENT IN THE GAME AS THE DAY IT LAUNCHED!!! Please do not use the word solar system. there are 4 planets just as empty as the next. Get you b-ass outta here with Empyrion, it’s pretty much exploration-modded Space engineers with a physics engine whipped out of a dumpster and the building is lowkey recycled.
Empyrion is cool but server wipes every 3 months is kinda turnoff. No point to waste time building underground bases, other stuff can be rebuilt from blueprints but it starts to feel like a chore
@@aaaaaaaawwwwwwww to be honest i just bought Empyrion, I discovered it (the game) 5 days ago. I have around 3000 hours in SE, but SE is more of a sandbox while Empyrion is a Minecraft combined with No man sky exploration/ resource mining gameplay loop ( the newest version not the original release). The differences are major, SE has a very good physics stimulation (which melts your computer, especially if you have a continuous circuit sorter or a klang engine) but unfortunately that's all, the only NPCs are some spiders and dogs, plus some randomly spawned stations. it's really great that you have to take physics into account when building ships, but that's about the only interesting aspect, and god forbid you go over 200,000 PCU, you are fucked then (90% of the cool ships on the workshop can't be created in MP because of this). Stuff that Empyrion has and SE doesn't: -NPCs -Fauna (animals) -plants (harvestable) -factions -territory controlled by factions -enemy ships -factions (if you are an enemy) come to destroy your base -quests (including a story) -environmental factors (cold, acid, radiation, temperature) -the need to eat and drink water -keeping time in SP -status effects (parasites, burns, poison) -specific drugs for status effects (antibiotics for parasites, anti-radiation pills for radiation poisoning) -different weapons for the player -a sniper rifle (yes, there is no such thing in SE, actually all rifles in SE are the same model with different rates of fire and DMG, the same for pistols, and more recently a single OP rocket launcher) -an economic system that is integrated into the game and not just an addition that the developers forgot about -several solar systems that you can visit, each with its own planets (of course they are randomly generated but at least you have something to explore, not like in SE where the difference is the color shade of the planet and the presence of O2) [in SE there are only 8 celestial bodies and the rest are randomly generated asteroids] -and there is loot and upgrades for costume/armor and weapons -Hydro-man does not exist (fuck all of them) -there is a simple system of programming logic (circuits, with conditions like: and, if, or, nand) where you don't need documentation to write code (anyone who watches a 5-minute tutorial can use it, unlike SE where there is a programmable block but you would have to have the documentation and programming knowledge, plus it doesn't run on some servers) -you can put different textures / colors on the faces of a single cube (that is, you can have a wall with a wood texture inside and a metal texture [armor] outside on the same block) -you can put small blocks in large grids (more opportunities for the external/internal texture for building the ship/base Personally, I would like Keen Software House to get down to business and stop manufacturing useless cosmetic DLCs and put a bit more gameplay in the game, I would very much like SE to have the same level of exploration and interaction like Empyrion, but unfortunately corporate greed dose not work that way. Seriously now we should give medals of honor to the mod creators for keeping this game alive for so long, especially Weapon core, Modular Encounters Spawner and Exploration enchanted

Bought the game after seeing this good game a little hard tho
come join my server bobtopia!
@@bobmichael301 Nah sorry man
@@dennismichelsen4936 respect the honesty.
@@bobmichael301 can I join ? I'm on ps4?
I would totally buy this game. If there was a server for pvp, that's constant. Im on Xbox
did u know this game is awsome
I sure did!
Did you know? On terms of pokemon and human breeding, vaporeon is the most compatible?
but keep in mind: the word “engineer” in the title of the game is far from an empty phrase. Be prepared to spend hours farming resources in survival, and then an eternity of sorting through your creations in the world, they worked..., although they would work.. and even more time to get them to work the way you need..
Yes.
This look really interesting :)
Can u enjoy it in single player for a long time?
Yes, I have many solo worlds, with and without mods. I can play it for 4-8 hours at once, assuming I have the time 😂
You're video (a year later) just sold another person this game lol
Would be an amazing game if the pvp side mechanics would exist. Good luck finding other player bases inside an eternity large space. The building area is not limited, so you can be literally wherever you want. From the core of a planet all the way up to the very very deep space.
Just ask someone to pull up to a location and fight it out most will play fair too the se community is awesome
Or start a survival with friends or creative build bases an ships than go to war with each other me an my friends have been doing that an having a blast! Or maybe you should try a game like Rust or Dayz if you want to raid an PvP your heart out those are good games to do it! I've been in 3 month wars on rust!
3,865 hours later....
I just recently bought this game on ps4 pretty good.
I play this alot but on the xbox It feels so limited.
It Fr is limited on Xbox. Hopefully they add more to it
Can I have big ships in single player. ? Like capital ship sizes. Won't they need crew to run
You can have any size ship as long as you computer can handle it, it would be easier with multiple people to run a ship, however you can still manage by yourself
I have 1500 hours in this game. Just in creative mode 😅
That means you like to be a God
Get that drill out and get mining
i have 1400 hour space minecraft
Love to see it 😂
Bro his voice 😂😂😂
The best game ever made fr
its a great survival building game. its just not a great Space game.
I'd love to join a server or something, I have no one to play with 😢
I feel ya man. I hope you find someone to play with 🙏🏻
Also is a game that is pretty much abandoned by the developers and that have big ass problems that they haven't solved in 10+ years and that by "NPCs" you mean some wolves in temperate planets and some bugs in the alien planet. Is a fun game overall but don't get into the game expecting some progress or the problems that it have beign fixed. lots of DLC's tought...
Yes i have 500 hours on it
Im new to the game. I could use some help.

The best game for me but i haven't got with WHO Play :(
pirates im sorrey did you mean space murderers called reapers....
Indeed lmao 😂
Don't you bring up that name. They'll hear you. First time I ever installed a mod pack it had reavers in it and I didn't know.... my whole fleet was gone cause I had no sheilds
Tried running this on a standard work computer one time, it shut down after about 5 minutes and wouldn’t start back up again.
game is pretty intensive. you need a pretty decent pc. a work pc wont have the hardware to run a game like this.
Never knew it
But only 8 players per game in a massive space world! It's a brilliant game but this lets it down so much
However if you play on a dedicated server you can play with however many the server allows.
Yeah
Yes i ve alredy made some videos
WARNING: Make sure your computer can handle the game 😅
And it still has bugs that were reported in *BETA*.
Hey man don't blame the devs blame clang
AND SURVIVAAAAAALLL
minecraft but more complicated. no blocks inculded tho. (but the buildings)
Yes !
yeah
Yes....
i know i have it
If you need mods to make a game playable then it's not a good game
The game is playable but mods add to the experience bucko
The most fun I had with it was still when me and a friend first got the game and learned how to play it, having all of our first experiences with all the game has to offer together was very enjoyable, and if you could get a group of like 6 people together to play it, you're gonna have fun, but only for like a month until you've done it all.
cool
How many hours have you played of SE?
Around 680 hours
@@josephmojo3465 thumbnail river was nice 👍🏼
Did you record this on your cellphone?
Nope, but if it looks low quality maybe you should get better Wifi 🧐
@@josephmojo3465 Wifi has nothing to do with aspect ratio, genius.
Yeah I know that lol, it’s a YT Short, you can’t upload in 1920x1080p for a short, it’s gotta be flipped.
Also I didn’t record it on a cellphone, I used OBS in case you were curious
@@josephmojo3465 Oh, thanks. I didn't know about YT shorts limitations.

@@josephmojo3465 do you know if there’s any Alien or xenomorph mods for ps4?
@@dqena I am not sure what mods are on PlayStation, so unfortunately I cannot say if there is or not.

Did you know that you're just stating the obvious?
Perhaps some people did not know of the game, which is why I made the video.
Боже! Я понял каждое слово, я что англичанин
Minecraft on steroids!!! The game is shit if you're a fan of real physics 🤷♂️
There is one problem. You say that we can find new resources on different planets but this is incorrect as all planets have the same resources. The only things that have different resources are asteroids.
If you spawn in custom planets which he mentions than yes it does spawn in new resources!
@@senpaicookiez2520 if by custom you mean modded then that would require a new resource because all the base game planets have the same resources
@@Anakinvoorhees if you turn on admin tools you can spawn in planets moons an asteroids if you spawn in planets those planets will have resources you cannot find on the normal starting planets or at least on ps4 that is how it is my apologies, also I'm not talking about mods their are currently no mods for console yet
@@Anakinvoorhees I used the word custom because it is not naturally spawned in its custom to that persons preferences if I meant mods I would've said mods my apologies
@@senpaicookiez2520 from what I know almost all the recourses in the game are on the starting planets and the only one that isn’t comes from asteroids. I think Platinum is the only recourse that doesn’t come from a planet
Is it worth buying?
I would say yes it is worth buying
depends on how much you like to build things, I love to build crap and I have 787.3h on steam in the game (And that's without counting the piraty time that might well be more than double of that time :) ). If you love to build, go ahead, if not... don't bother, the game is not so thrilling as our friend here suggests.
empirion much better and much more alive game
empyrion galactic survival better

"you can form factions whit other players"

You can do almost all this in no man's sky too. But I'm looking forward to space engineers on console
Here.. i will correct the video "Space engineers is an absolutely empty game with absolutely noting to do other that craft large ships that have no purpose. The modding community has put the only content in the game that exists. Want to interact with cool NPCs? nope no such thing? Want to see Planets Teeming with life? Nope no such thing? Want to experience massive lag on your 4 thousand dollar gaming pc ? build anything with a piston and watch your GPU roast itself! Almost 10 years... 10 YEARS AND THERE IS EXACTLY THE SAME CONTENT IN THE GAME AS THE DAY IT LAUNCHED!!! Please do not use the word solar system. there are 4 planets just as empty as the next. If you want to play an amazing space game... Play Empyrion.
cope.
troll? empyrion is a se knock of!
Stuff that Empyrion has and SE doesn't:
-NPCs
-Fauna (animals)
-plants (harvestable)
-factions
-territory controlled by factions
-enemy ships
-factions (if you are an enemy) come to destroy your base
-quests (including a story)
-environmental factors (cold, acid, radiation, temperature)
-the need to eat and drink water
-keeping time in SP
-status effects (parasites, burns, poison)
-specific drugs for status effects (antibiotics for parasites, anti-radiation pills for radiation poisoning)
-different weapons for the player
-a sniper rifle (yes, there is no such thing in SE, actually all rifles in SE are the same model with different rates of fire and DMG, the same for pistols, and more recently a single OP rocket launcher)
-an economic system that is integrated into the game and not just an addition that the developers forgot about
-several solar systems that you can visit, each with its own planets (of course they are randomly generated but at least you have something to explore, not like in SE where the difference is the color shade of the planet and the presence of O2) [in SE there are only 8 celestial bodies and the rest are randomly generated asteroids]
-and there is loot and upgrades for costume/armor and weapons
-Hydro-man does not exist (fuck all of them)
-there is a simple system of programming logic (circuits, with conditions like: and, if, or, nand) where you don't need documentation to write code (anyone who watches a 5-minute tutorial can use it, unlike SE where there is a programmable block but you would have to have the documentation and programming knowledge, plus it doesn't run on some servers)
-you can put different textures / colors on the faces of a single cube (that is, you can have a wall with a wood texture inside and a metal texture [armor] outside on the same block)
-you can put small blocks in large grids (more opportunities for the external/internal texture for building the ship/base
Personally, I would like Keen Software House to get down to business and stop manufacturing useless cosmetic DLCs and put a bit more gameplay in the game, I would very much like SE to have the same level of exploration and interaction like Empyrion, but unfortunately corporate greed dose not work that way.
Seriously now we should give medals of honor to the mod creators for keeping this game alive for so long, especially Weapon core, Modular Encounters Spawner and Exploration enchanted
Better then Star citizen.
I agree, as much as I love star citizen, space engineers is so much better optimized with more or less to do.
Anything is better than Scam Citizen.
You made it sound far more active and deep than it actually is LMFAO.
