    I have a couple Ford F650 trucks here in AZ. 1 14ft and 1 26ft. Usually haul tile for one company, but it's been really slow lately and not sure I can keep my driver. Non CDL. Only want localish jobs. Have 4400Lb 7x7ft lift gate and 3300lb. electric pallet jack. Any ideas how I can get more work to keep from laying off my driver?

      Try out as many different apps & websites as possible
      Other than that call every customer you’ve hauled for and see if that have anything or know someone who does

    The loads you are getting out to low per mile. You cannot live off the load boards and keep crapy rates. You need to have your own customers to get good rates.

      What if: the dudes trucks are paid off and his cost per mile is lower than you think. Spot market gives you freedom of your cost per mile is in the sweet spot and you have a good team, it’s doable even in this market 😊

    Might be looking for someone to haul a boom truck in near future how would I go about looking for someone to haul it.

    • @TowPiglet
      @TowPiglet  Před 24 dny +2

      Depends on
      - Budget
      - Time
      - Condition of the boom truck
      If the boom truck can run and drive one of your cheapest options might be to fly someone out and have them drive it back. May take a while to find someone.
      If it's not run and drive, I think you can post it on central dispatch or uship. Due your due diligence before hiring a carrier.
      If you want to out source all of this, contact me through the website I can get you in touch with a couple good brokers who can help you get it moved basically same day but it cost some money.

      Tried car hauling 3 years ago, what I learned is that if I didn’t want a life anymore and was willing to live in my truck like a dog I could make decent money maybe 2k-3k thousand a week after expenses. I decided I wanted a life and do Realestate now lol

      Who would you recommend for dispatching? A place to lease on to ? Is it better to just get my own authority? Any advice appreciated. I have been watching your videos for years

      If the insurance is reasonable I’d recommend getting your own authority
