Hi from Spain !! I am not the type of guy that write comments, but this lovely video has excited me. I am new in bonsai and still do not have none for display, to sit down and enjoy it as you say, but now I am really looking forward to it! You gain a new subscriber!! Thanks!! Happy New Year

Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you Andrew, for all your hard work and content you put out on Instagram and I look forward to seeing more videos of you and your trees on CZcams.
Appreciate the kind words, and thanks for joining us for our CZcams journey!
Nice video Andrew n informative, I personally would cut the top n make the smaller branch the apex, ( my personal choice)
that's definitely an option@@jam884
A Rakuyo bonsai channel! Hell yeah!!!Thankyou Andrew. Appreciate it 💚🌳
Thank you, stay tuned for more!
All good points - it would be good to see the early pictures of this tree as well.
I need to restore a broken computer to access them, but hoping to get around to that soon!
I've been putting trees I'm not sure what to do with on our patio table where my wife (a visual artist) and I pass by all the time. After a few days, she'll often have specific suggestions like changing the angle, jinning a branch, or changing the front, and she's invariably right. Most of my trees are not rakuyo, but this video was so insightful that I decided subscribe. Thanks, Andrew!
Thanks for following, glad you found it insightful!
Nice piece! Great tree! Thanks!
Thanks for watching!
Hey, Andrew! Excited to see you start this channel. Looking forward to watching all your content. Sending love from the Bonsai Society of Hartford, CT. 👊🏻
Thanks Vincent, miss all the bonsai folk in New England!
I’ll often bring a tree in for the evening and place it in our living room. I won’t deliberately sit down and think about it but I will pass by it and catch it from different angles. Inevitably at some point in the evening I’ll get a sense of something that needs to be done to it. It’s almost like I just need to be in its company for a while.
It's amazing what you notice when you spend more time with them!
i like to have a few trees in my garage in the winter if it's too wet or too cold for exactly the same reasons
Nice point Andrew! Maybe follow up with how folks who don't have an alcove can practice display? (e.g. the barriers to what are on display behind you are a bit high....). I'll share some more feedback privately. - E.
Thanks, that's a great idea! The list of future videos keeps growing...
Excited to watch this new facet of Rakuyo educational content grow!
Very interesting video, makes me want to build a setup for my work in progress tree!
I learn a lot each time by doing it!
