How to live and work abroad, literally just showing my everyday life and struggles as a nurse.
Living abroad means I have to leave my family back home.
This is one way of updating them and showing them my day to day life. As said earlier, I am new to making content, that is why I post atleast once a week.
Life is a bit busy and I am a full time nurse but I will try my best to upload more videos as often as I can. Rest assured these videos will be fun and enjoyable. And hopefully you'll join me on these journey.

Hello nurse niezel is it allowed to hold the already dip strips. The hand to match for the results. Because I was told u r only allowed to live it on the tissue or gauze while reading the results. Pls can u clarify me on these
Hi Nurse Niezl, great video! Thank you so much. Do we need to get the specimen pot/tissues/kidney or will it be there already at the bedside? If not then do we just prepare it, sanitise and proceed to the patient?
Since MSU is just 8 minutes, all the articles will be prepared right in front of you.
Evenso, please still check if they are clean and intact and read the expiration date.
Please kindly drop the link for nasopharyngeal suctioning if you have one.
So I want to know, with the labelling of the bottle, do you label the first one you’re handing to patient or the one she brings in later please

Hi Nizel. I pass my 8 station with your help full video but unluckily I failed in implementation and msu @ urinalysis. I just want to know they giving me a same when I resit for both stations.

For the hand rub, just verbalise the "actual steps" ones throughout your station. The rest of the hand rubs : just verbalise that you will "gel hands and dry it for 30 seconds."
Should we ask the assessor whether it’s a disposal tray ?
Yes If you have a doubt.
If you are not sure if it is disposable or non disposable tray, ask the assessor to confirm. Most of the time they will orient you with the room including the articles that you may use. Otherwise, ask of in doubt.😉

Whether we get all results negative in the real exam ?
Actually, you can get either positive or negative results. All you have to do is to accurately get the total hours and the Total Input and Output to get the Total Balance.
@@nurseniezl I think you answered for intake and output chart..but I have asked about readings in urine dip stick test
@siji sanish apologies, my mistake. When it comes to the Urinalysis, it varies. I haven't heard any previous OSCE takers saying they received all negative answers. So , please do expect that you will receive different results.
You were using the pen all the time...does it contaminate?
If you watch the whole video, I am wearing a protective glove on my left hand when handling contaminated things.. and for the writing part, i am using my clean hand.
Hope this helps to clear the rationale behind it.
