This system is fine as it’s intended to be long term (2500-3000+ hour estimate to complete). My only hope is that they eventually add a universal camo for mastering every gun.
the biggest letdown on the mastery levels is that the thing that matters most on it is the time its being held, when it should be the damage and the kils that you get with it

Ill never forget arenas for teaching me the Mozambique is lowkey the best shotgun in the game. May not hit as hard as other but its consistent and will still hit 45s at mid range easier than a wingman
....stop saying this when it can't 2 tap like a PK or a mastiff.
Nor have the burst potential of an Eva8
Mozam with ham rounds is definitely a contender but tbh its only best in a ballistic's sling.
Mozam is a reliable shotgun.

@@gurimisenpai2358 pk and mastiff aren’t as reliable as the Mozam. The amount of times my shotgun as hit for 9 and 27 up close to insane. Mozam however with good sim can completely destroy someone just like a wingman.

Sounds like a skill issue
The main thing I'm taking away from this is not to underestimate the range of the Mozam. It has a much tighter spread and thus a much longer effective range than I (and assume most others) expected or realized.
I think it can still do 45 damage with 50 meters distance
Man, I wonder how infuriating this challenge would've been when the Mozambique
is not the better weapon it is today but how it was like Season 4 or something.

(Un)fun fact: you can level up your weapon mastery MEANWHILE ratting in ranked by simply having your gun out, because for some reason having it equipped gives substantially more points than dealing damage or getting kills with the gun.
*Have a teammate drop the Mozambique at the right moment, then pick it up*

Thats the apex loot for you. Any game you're serious, Mozam and 37 P2020s off drop. You look for one, theres none within the nearest 400 miles
I'm sooooo glad you mentioned how when you're looking for a specific gun, the game doesn't seem to give it to you. I've said that so many times and thought I was imagining things, but that is your experience too. My frustrations in finding specific guns, when I'm looking for a specific gun, feels justified now

Certainly the most entertaining and talented gamer I've seen on this platform. I would love to see you attempt this with the p2020 or the prowler.
I use the 30-30 repeater basically every match and it's still only level 9
Ive used flaline nemesis and r99 since season 17 dropped and all of them are lvl 9-10
My pk and mastiff are 10. Everything else is under 5

I'm not sure if you've figured this out, but you get a lot of weapon xp just by running with your weapon out
Hey merchant what was the music that you used when you were getting the Mozambique to level 20?
i need you to start doing the lvl 40 trial because there has to be some hidden reqs i cant find out because i have so many kills while aiming down sight and only 2 have counted and that was 1 in 2 seperate games

I've seen punch do this, all you need is to hold the gun ratin around until final zone and you should get like 1500-2000 XP, wich is pretty dumb lol

That challenge is insane smh I can only imagine the rest of the guns or higher level within the guns
The second Trial is to get a knock while in ADS without releasing the trigger.
It appears that you have to also break their shield with it. You can't use something like the PK for an opening hit and immediately swap to the BIQUE and let it rip.

Does it matter what game mode to do any trials with weapons? Because I gor my volt to level 20 to do first trial and its not tracking
I can’t imagine how hard this’ll be with the two guns that are in the crafter
by the way u get the most mastery points just for holding the gun out so holstering ur mozam is making it slower
For mastery of a shotgun, I would definitely use mad 3:02 Maggie. If you want to level up the fastest, the fastest way to get XP is to have your gun out and mad my Maggie runs full speed with shotguns.

The reason I actually started liking and rivaling the WM is because w the WM that packs power-if you miss one shot it’s truly crucial that you recover. With the Mozam if you hit at least ☝🏾 pellet it’s a guranteed 15dmg. Getting a guranteed compared to the other shotguns make it truly a A+ tier weapon imo. I think it was szn…6 or sumn when it had 4 shots but believe it was 20dmg pellet but didn’t have hopup

I think they ment 80-120 hrs to max it.. because I got 6 guns past level 15 in about 30 games.. 301, 99, volt, and mastiff.. but I could be wrong. Cool challenge tho

Anyone else getting a bug where game flashes a blue screen when you are shooting your gun and you crack an enemy? The screen goes completely blue and comes back after about one second. It just started about a week or so ago, so I’m not sure what it is as have never had it in 2 years … anybody else has seen this?
