I love how she started out just singing normal and little subdued, not doing to much and what not….then when that note came after the second verse (‘make all my wishes come true’)..she projects her voice to show that she can sing when she wants to. That’s what you call understanding spectacle. Love her

It made Janet the First female artist in HISTORY to DEBUT at the Top Ten of the Charts twice at that time. It was successful in other countries as well, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and The United Kingdom. So it was a VERY successful song. 😊❤

A PROFESSIONAL voice teacher acknowledged her beautiful singing voice as have others. She has never professed to be a power house singer , she is a OVERALL , consummate entertainer with the GLOBAL accolades and numerous GLOBAL accomplishments to prove it. Janet has been in the entertainment industry since performing with her siblings in Las Vegas at the age of 7 , singing, dancing. Acting, writing a Oscar nominated song and a Album Rhythm Nation was inducted into The National Recording Registry at the Library of Congress because of its socially conscious content . Janet was inducted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019. And has Grammy wins and Nominations in 5 music genre's, ROCK, DANCE, R&B, POP, and HIP-HOP.
