    After rethinking about this, I believe everything Ginny did, outside of her relationship with Marcus, was rational. Like she found out her Mom killed someone, she found out her was manipulative and now engaged to the Mayor. She could be living in the next house as the next victim. She didn't know about Georgia',s history, heck finding out her real name was Mary, is 10 different red flags. Ginny may be wrong in the audience eyes, but that's because the audience knows everything

      Oh thank god someone brought this up. It is so true whatever you said, in our eyes as the viewers, we know everything and tend to jump straight to the gun and say that the character is wrong when we all know that they don't know the complete story.

      Finally someone who understands Ginny's side of the story. Also, finally someone who understands how messed up Georgia is. She wanted to protect her daughter from the rape that her mom never protected her from, that Georgia did the wrong thing for the good reason. But Georgia is not a example of a good mom because she lies, she steals, manipulate, and is able to do very dangerous things. She protects and cares about her children, but that does not make her an example, this is something known by herself, she said that to Ginny when she told about Kenny. Other red flag is that she made her daughter believe her stepfather died of an heart attack, not by her poisoning him. She thought her mom wasn't able to do that. And it's a lot to process in a teenager's head.

      The problem I have with Ginny is that while Georgia never did make the best choices, Ginny constantly snoops in her mother’s past when it’s clear she can’t handle it. That’s why Georgia never tells her anything because her past is too dark. This season showed how much Ginny knowing the full truth affected her.

His preferred job was out of the office, and she wanted him to be an office worker which is the main reason they were on and off again. @@clifforddavis6705effing THANK YOU!!! I’m sick of all these people trying to paint Zion as an absentee parent when it’s been made clear by what we’ve seen and through multiple people (including Georgia herself) she kept leaving Zion. He moved her into his house when he found out and she dipped because she didn’t want him or his family invovled. She shows up and he takes care of them and she decides through her own volition she is going to leave AGAIN. We see flashbacks though that when she is with Gil, Zion is still there in some regard but when she leaves him and moves again they keep in contact. He pops up and wants to reconcile and Georgia and him don’t work out, Ginny herself points this out, so he moves on.
      Zion isn’t the stereotypical absent black dad (which is exactly where this nonsense is coming from whether people want to admit it or not) Georgia keeps taking his child and running off somewhere. She doesn’t want him but she wants her children, what was he supposed to do besides move on with his life and try to be as involved as Georgia would allow.

    • @Sephiroth766
      @Sephiroth766 Před 9 měsíci +13

      Cause that's how she is, she's severely oblivious to how people are feeling around her and just cares about the reactions that affect her. So whatever Ginny was trying to hide, she don't care because she got what she wanted, Ginny to stay home. In her mind Georgia probably thinks, "well she's not homeless and a teen mom like I was at that age, so how bad could her problems really be?". The standard Georgia has for her kids is very different than a normal parents', as long as they have basic safety, Georgia can do the rest.

      @ladytesha1 Před 8 měsíci +3

      @Sephiroth766 yeah I know agree, idc, she's a bad parent if that's all she cares about... She's neglecting her kid's mental health and emotional needs just to be on top and to look good forgetting their more to parenting than protecting them.
      And she is the one putting them in dangerous situations anyway over and over again. Georgia just wanted control and she was losing it. and she didn't want Ginny to say anything to Zion

Ginny knows Georgia isn't listening and brushes her off. That is why Ginny stops communicating how she feels and lashes out instead. because Georgia is not mentally and emotionally there because of her abusive past . Even in the s1 Georgia brushes Ginny feeling off. S1e1 and s2 e5 made it very clear Ginny can't talk to Georgia because Georgia Changes the subject making Ginny voice feel unheard.or she goes extra.
      Her kids has problems for a reason pay attention to small detail. Georgia needs to seek help, like Ginny is doing

      Zion didn't leave Georgia left. Zion got a job that he hated to take up responsibility, but the vibe was off and Georgia sensed it and did something that made him always love her. It shows when people goes to brag about his traveling, it reminds of Georgia and the lost time with his daughter. Which is one of the reasons why Georgia is also little angry about and the reason they are not together is because of his unwillingness to get an office job.

It's really gonna pay off in the longterm. And by allowing ginny that. She's not only gonna be better for it but so is Georgia's relationship with ginny. True. I think that ginnys reasons for leaving were definitely not 100% in good reason. I still think part of it was to have a better relationship with her Dad. But honestly as far as that goes I don't think it's about him or Georgia. Ginnys just pointing the figure at everyone but herself. Not to mention both Georgia and ginny have both pointed the finger at him. But things are never that black and white they weren't for Georgia so. Why would they be for Zion?
